This study was done to determine the effect of watery and alcoholic extracts of Elettaria cardamomum  on growth of bacteria isolated from Otitis media Infections which are : Pseudomonas aeruginosa , Staphylococcus  aureus and  Klebsilla   spp.        The biochemical analysis revealed that watery extracts of Elettaria cardamomum  contains: Glycosides,  Alkaloids, Saponines, Tannins, and Volatile oils, ( This compound is Soluble in water ) , while the alcoholic extracts contains : (in addition to the above mentioned compounds ) Phenols , Resins , Flavonids and Coumarins.    The cytotoxic effect of different concentrations of Crude extracts of  Solanum melongena  , Curcuma longa and  Daucus carota  on  mice mammary adenocarcinoma cell line was  studied . The concentrations  used were 62.5 125 , 250, 500 Microgram/militer for 24,48 and 72 hour . These exracts were prepared by  using alcoholic and  hot water methods . A field experiment was conducted at the experimental field of botanical garden, faculty of science, university of Baghdad, in order to study the effect of plant density on growth and yield of two local cultivars of sunflower (Sin Althieb and Shumose). The densities used were 4.4 and 8.8 plant/m². The results showed difference between cultivars in their agronomic traits and their yields.
