Intravaginal progesterone sponges have been widely utilized to synchronize estrus in goats; however, extended use may be accompanied by vaginal microbial imbalance, vaginal discharge abnormalities, and diminished reproductive performance. Intravaginal probiotics have been suggested as an alternative to antibiotics for addressing vaginal dysbiosis, but their effects across varying synchronization durations have not been thoroughly studied in goats. The current study was conducted to assess the effect of intravaginal probiotic use in association with various progesterone sponge durations on vaginal microbiota and reproductive effciency in Black Iraqi goats. Forty-four adult goats (2–5 years) were randomly assigned to four groups (n = 11) for 7 and 14 days of treatment with a progesterone sponge alone or in combination with probiotics. Two strains of Lactobacillus (L. plantarum and L. acidophilus) were used in a lyophilized product (2×109 CFU/sponge). The following were assessed: cultivable vaginal bacteria (total bacteria, Enterobacteriaceae, Lactobacillus), score of vaginal discharge, onset of estrus and duration of estrus, and early pregnancy rate. Larger Enterobacteriaceae and total bacterial counts, and lower Lactobacillus counts, were observed with prolonged retention (14 days) compared to the short-duration protocol (p < 0.05). Probiotic treatment showed significantly higher Lactobacillus counts (2.75 ± 0.69 vs.0.44 ± 0.25 log CFU/mL) (p < 0.001) and significantly lower Enterobacteriaceae and total counts, especially in the long protocol (Enterobacteriaceae 4.37 ± 0.36 vs.5.20 ± 0.44; total 5.26 ± 0.43 vs.6.14 ± 0.44 log CFU/mL), with a significantly earlier on set of estrus (29.82 ± 0.66 vs.33.00 ± 1.18 h), longer duration of estrus (29.91 ± 0.79 vs.24.73 ± 0.84 h), and milder discharge (Fisher’s exact test, p = 0.01 –0.03) than controls. The early pregnancy rate was numerically higher in the probiotic-treated groups but not statistically significant (p > 0.05). Overall, the duration of sponge use was associated with vaginal health and reproductive responses, with short-sponge duration protocols with high-dose Lactobacillus associated with decreased dysbiosis and enhanced vaginal health, suggesting a non-antibiotic strategy that warrants testing in larger studies for it spotential role in conception.
Abstract
The current research aims to clarify the role of local policies on the performance of the province of Baghdad, after studies proved practical experience what those policies of the major role and effect on the lives of citizens, as well as alleviate the burden on central government, which make a lot of states give local governments broad powers and her specialty funds for the exercise of its vital role and actor in various joints of local development, research has indentified a problem in a number of questions such as: do you have the policy of the provincial council of local qualified and able to influence the performance of the province? What are the main forces of powerful and implementation of policies at all

In the practical aspect, the results of some financial ratios of Basrah Gas Company were compared with the adoption of the financial statements prepared on the basis of the consolidated accounting system with the prepared financial statements Based on the International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS). The research has reached a number of conclusions, including a difference in the accounting rules and practices between IFRS and the consolidated accounting system in force in Iraq. The adoption of IFRS has led to a decrease in profitabi

Objective: To compare brain pharmacokinetics of DTGs delivered via NLC-loaded in situ gel intranasal administration with the conventional intravenous (IV) drug solution. Methods: 80 Wistar rats, which were divided into three groups: two groups consisting of 39 animals each and a control group with 2 animals. A conventional four stroke, direct injected, single cylinder, diesel engine was tested at constant speed and at different load conditions using diesel fuel and biodiesel blends. The inlet and exhaust valves, the head of piston and cylinder head of the engine were coated by ceramic materials. Ceramic layers were made of (210-240) μm of Al2O3 and (30-60) μm of 4NiCr5Al as a bond coat for inlet and exhaust valves and (350-400) μm of YSZ and (50-100) μm of 4NiCr5Al as a bond coat for head of piston and (280-320) μm of Sic and (40-80) μm of 4NiCr5Al as a b

Although various agents promote dentin remineralization, direct comparisons between theobromine, bioactive glass (BAG), and nano-hydroxyapatite (Nano-HAP) under simulated oral conditions remain limited. To fill this gap, this in vitro study aimed to evaluate and compare the effectiveness of these three treatments on exposed cervical dentin. The assessment focused on their chemical, morphological, and mechanical effects on dentin. Materials and methods Forty-eight human dentin slabs were obtained from the cervical portions of twelve sound premolar teeth. Baseline Raman spectroscopy and VMH tests were done to exclude outliers. Striae distensae SD or stretch mark are frequent skin lesion that cause considerable aesthetic concern. The 1064nm long pulsed Nd:YAG Laser has been used to promote an increase in dermal collagen and is known to be a Laser that has a high affinity to vascular chromphores. Also by using fractional CO2 Laser 10600nm as an effective modality in treatment of striae distensae SD. It works to stimulate fibroblast and enhance Collagen formation, which is important for newly generated skin tissue.
