Objectives: 1. Assessment women’s knowledge about caesarean section. 2. Determining women’s knowledge in relation to their demographic characteristics (age, level of education, and economic status). Methodology: A descriptive design was conducted on Assessment Women’ Knowledge about Cesarean Section at Maternity and Pediatric Hospital in AL-Samawa City. This study started from 26th of September 2020 up to 16th March 2021. Sample of (100) married women who were at reproductive age, pregnant (prime or multipara ) who were planned to have birth by elective cesarean section or had previous elective caesarian section without medical indication or women who had cesarean section with medical indication or emergency. Results: Results of the study shows lowest mean of score for most questions were poor significance and other questions shows moderate mean of score for most questions in all domains. Conclusions: The study concludes that women had a poor knowledge level about cesarean section in the Maternity and Pediatric Hospital. Recommendations: The researcher recommends providing knowledge for pregnant women by nurses and midwives, during antenatal period regarding methods of delivery, its signs, characteristics, and complications.

In this work Polyynes was synthesized by pulse laser ablation of graphite target in ethanol solution. UV-Visible Spectrophotometer, Fourier Transform Infrared Spectroscopy (FTIR) and Transmission electron microscopy (TEM) were used to study the optical absorption, chemical bonding, particle size and the morphology. UV absorption peaks coincide with the electronic transitions corresponding to linear hydrogen – capped polyyne (Cn+1H2), the absorption peaks intensity increased when the polyynes were produced at different laser energies and the formation rats of polyynes increased with the increasing of laser pulse number. This study aims at recognizing Pesticides and how the process of pesticides biodegradation by microbiology took place, and the effect of environmental condition on this process. And how the research uncovered the efficiency of microbiology in the biodegradation process of pesticides, as the perfect temperature for the biodegradation process is 40 °C and humidity effect on pesticides efficiency, when high humidity reduces pesticide efficiency and the perfect acidity to increase bacteria efficiency is 7, for the incubation period, it was found during the previous studies that the best incubation period is 5-7 days, in this period the bacteria imprint on pesticides and increase biodegradation of it.
