Objectives: 1. Assessment women’s knowledge about caesarean section. 2. Determining women’s knowledge in relation to their demographic characteristics (age, level of education, and economic status). Methodology: A descriptive design was conducted on Assessment Women’ Knowledge about Cesarean Section at Maternity and Pediatric Hospital in AL-Samawa City. This study started from 26th of September 2020 up to 16th March 2021. Sample of (100) married women who were at reproductive age, pregnant (prime or multipara ) who were planned to have birth by elective cesarean section or had previous elective caesarian section without medical indication or women who had cesarean section with medical indication or emergency. Results: Results of the study shows lowest mean of score for most questions were poor significance and other questions shows moderate mean of score for most questions in all domains. Conclusions: The study concludes that women had a poor knowledge level about cesarean section in the Maternity and Pediatric Hospital. Recommendations: The researcher recommends providing knowledge for pregnant women by nurses and midwives, during antenatal period regarding methods of delivery, its signs, characteristics, and complications.
This study was carried out to study the tolerance degree of wheat Triticum aestivum L. C. V. AL-Fateh to NaCl (0,20,50,70,100) mM by using CaSO4 (1,5,10) mM in hydroponic culture. The results showed that the adverse effect of NaCl on some growth parameters such as chlorophyll concentration , soluble carbohydrates and protein content in shoot and root systems were increased with increase of NaCl concentration in growth medium , But these effects are reduced by using CaSo4 to ellivate the stress of NaCl . They were selected ten samples of red and white meat randomly (Iraq, Saudi Arabia, Turkey, and Brazil) from different markets in Baghdad, and the results of reading the nutrition facts of media indication card showed that all models confirm to the Iraqi standard quality in terms of scanning all data of the media indication card, except for the birds of Bayader, where the date of expire & production date of the product was not mentioned.
