Microalgae present much usefulness for antimicrobial research because of its enormous biodiversity and rapid growth rate. Histologically, its wall comprises four layers: mucosa, submucosa, muscularis externa, and serosa. The mucosa exhibits broad longitudinal folds lined by high columnar cells with basal oval nuclei.
