Clinicopathological Features of Colorectal Cancer in the Iraqi Population Focusing on Age and Early-Onset of Malignancy: A Descriptive Cross-Sectional Study
...Show More Authors

Background: Colorectal cancer (CRC) is one of the top ten most common cancers worldwide. There are multiple risk factors for CRC, one of which is aging. However, in recent years, CRC has been reported in children. Objective: To describe the main characteristics and symptoms of CRC as well as highlight pathologic data for early-onset CRC. Methods: 79 CRC patients were recruited from the Oncology Teaching Hospital in the period February–December 2022. A questionnaire was used to collect demographic and clinical data. Results: 25 (31.6%) of patients were below 50 years of age. 52 (65.8%) patients had tumors in the colon. The most common symptom is bleeding per rectum in both age groups. There was no significant difference in patholog

Effect of integrated nutrient management using pigeon manure, biofertilizer and boron on quantitative and qualitative traits of green onion (Allium fistulosum L.)
...Show More Authors

Despite the recognised importance of green onion as a nutritionally and medicinally valuable crop in Iraq, its production heavily depends on chemical fertilisers, which degrade soil fertility and environmental quality. Although organic manure, biofertilizers, and micronutrients such as boron individually improve soil health and crop performance, limited information is available on their integrated application under local agro-ecological conditions. In this regard, an experiment was conducted during the 2024-25 fall season at the fields of College of Agricultural Engineering Sciences, University of Baghdad, Iraq to study the effects of integrated nutrients managements on growth, yield and quality of bunching onion (Allium fistulosum)

THE IMPACT OF OUTSOURCING OF HUMAN RESOURCE ACTIVITIES ON ORGANIZATIONAL WINNING(FIELD RESEARCH IN A SAMPLE OF PREMIUM CLASS HOTELS -IN IRAQ)
...Show More Authors

The aim of the research is to test the effect of outsourcing human resources activities (independent variable) with its dimensions (outsourcing of staffing, outsourcing of training and development, outsourcing of wages and compensation, outsourcing of human resources information systems) on organizational winning (dependent variable) with its dimensions (the culture of winning, successful organizational change, continuous improvement, and adoption of risk). The research problem was the questions posed by the researcher, the most important of which is the extent to which the research sample realizes the importance of applying outsourcing to human resources activities and its role in organizational vi

The impact of the cash flow statement indicators in market value change of the industrial firms listed on the Palestine Stock Exchange
...Show More Authors

This research aims to examine the ability of impact of the cash flow statement indicators in the change in the market value of the industrial firms listed on the Palestine Stock Exchange. The research population consisted of (13) firms during the period (2015-2020). Data were collected from the annual financial statements of the firms. The research relies on the Pooled effects model to analyze the cross-section data (Panel Data), and the multiple regression method to test the hypotheses. The research finds a positive significant impact of (the ratios of cash flows from operating activities to sales, the return on assets from operating cash flows, and cash flows from operating activities to total current liabilities) in the change

A Theoretical Investigation on Chemical Bonding of the Bridged Hydride Triruthenium Cluster: [Ru3 (μ-H)( μ3-κ2-Hamphox-N,N)(CO)9]
...Show More Authors

Ruthenium-Ruthenium and Ruthenium–ligand interactions in the triruthenium "[Ru3(μ-H)(μ3-κ2-Hamphox-N,N)(CO)9]" cluster are studied at DFT level of theory. The topological indices are evaluated in term of QTAIM (quantum theory of atoms in molecule). The computed topological parameters are in agreement with related transition metal complexes documented in the research papers. The QTAIM analysis of the bridged core part, i.e., Ru3H, analysis shows that there is no bond path and bond critical point (chemical bonding) between Ru(2) and Ru(3). Nevertheless, a non-negligible delocalization index for this non-bonding interaction is calculated
