Effect of mycorrhiza ( Glomus mosseae ) and superphosphate on physiological characters of Hordeum vulgare
...Show More Authors

Abstract An experiment was conducted to study the effect of Glomus mosseae and two concentration (21 and 42%) of super phosphate. They used either to be separated or together with inoculation of G. mosseae on physiological characters of Horeum Vulagera . The results showed that all treatment affected significantly especially super phosphate at the above concentration together with G. mosseae. The effects appeared as an increase in plant height , leaves area , dry weight of total plant , stem dry weight , leaves dry weight , tiller’s number , flag leaf area , dry weight of flag and also increased in CGR , RGR , RGR- NAR , LAI . The yield component increased in number of spikes, number of spikelet’s / spike, number of grain / spike, weight of 1000 grain (gm) and harvest index (%).

Synthesis and Characterization of Polycyclicacetal Derived from PEG & Erythro-Ascorbic Acid Derivative and Study Its Effect on the Activity of ACh Enzyme (In Vitro)
...Show More Authors

Polycyclicacetal was prepared from the reaction of PEG with aldehyde derived from Erythro-ascorbic acid (pentulosono-ɣ-lactone-2,3-enedianisoate).All these compounds were characterized by Thin Layer Chromatography (TLC) and FTIR spectra and aldehyde was also characterized by (U.V-Vis), 1HNMR, 13CNMR, and mass spectra. The inhibitory effect of prepared polymer on the activity of human serum AcetylCholinesterase has been studied in vitro. The polymer showed a remarkable activity at low concentration (4.7x10-3 – 4.7x10-8M).

Automation in architecture and its effect on the regeneration of traditional buildings: Al-Shawi House as a case study
...Show More Authors
Abstract
The increased applications of technology in the field of architecture, especially digital technology and aspects of automation, have made a major impact on various aspects of local architecture, especially the traditional ones. As these technologies have succeeded in integrating many technological applications in many traditional and heritage buildings and taking them to more complex uses. And included in it characteristics that were not contained, therefore the research problem was concentrated in the absence of a holistic view of the role of the aspects of automation as a technological and design effect and its mutual effects on traditional buildings (especially the traditional Bagh
... Twenty four bacterial isolates were identified from (10) places for wandering sellers in south Baghdad city (Bayaa garage). They were Staphylococcus aureus (9 isolates), Bacillus subtilis (6 isolates), Salmonella spp. (4 isolates) and Psudomonas aeruginosa (5 isolates). Agar well diffusion method was used to definition sensitivity of the fresh and dried juice of Capsicum grossum L. and Allium cepal L. at different concentrations. The fresh juice had no inhibitory activity against the bacterial isolates in contrast to the fresh juice , dried juice which show marked activity against all bacterial isolates at (30) mg/ml.
