Lithology identification plays a crucial role in reservoir characteristics, as it directly influences petrophysical evaluations and informs decisions on permeable zone detection, hydrocarbon reserve estimation, and production optimization. This paper aims to identify lithology and minerals composition within the Mishrif Formation of the Ratawi Oilfield using well log data from five open hole logs of wells RT-2, RT-4, RT-5, RT-6, and RT-42. At this step, the logging lithology identification tasks often involve constructing a lithology identification model based on the assumption that the log data are interconnected. Lithology and minerals were identified using three empirical methods: Neutron-Density cross plots for lithology identification, M-N cross plots (also known as Litho-porosity cross plots) for mineral identification, and Matrix identification (MID) plots. Neutron-density cross plots show that the Mishrif formation consists of limestone with some data points tending to the dolomite line east of the field and to the sandstone line west of the field. The M-N and MID plots indicate that calcite is the major mineral for the Mishrif formation; however, quartz grows to the west of the area while dolomite increases to the east. These findings underscore the importance of integrating multiple well-log interpretation techniques to capture lithologic and mineralogical complexity, providing critical insights for reservoir management and targeted exploitation strategies in heterogeneous carbonate systems.
Derivational word formation process is one of the most substantial linguistic procedures that solves many problems in the translation of the language new vocabulary and helps to comprehend the smallest language component that not simply semantically and structurally explain the elements of both Russian and Arabic but also enables translators to comprehend the derivational method procedures of both languages. It also reveals the structural aspects of translation equivalences, cognitive and semantic foundations of translation. The rapid development of languages and the appearance of a new vocabulary like ṭabaʿa "print → ṭābiʿat "printer", kataba "to write" → kātib → kātibat, rafaʿa "to raise" → rāfiʿat "a crane" d

However, joining these structures when using Friction Stir Welding (FSW) could be prone to defects that cause severe consequences like loss of strength and fracture. The current paper implements an experimental procedure to assess the effect of geometrical tool shape on void formation in friction stir welded AA 6061-T6 T-joint configuration. Taguchi optimization method was put into service to minimize the number of experiments and fulfil the goal of discovering the optimal FSW parameters that allow the manufacturing of such configurations with high mechanical properties. Raster-based digital elevation models (DEMs) play an important role in distributed hydrologic modeling supported by geographic information systems (GIS). Digital Elevation Model (DEM) data have been used to derive hydrological features, which serve as inputs to various models. Currently, elevation data are available from several major sources and at different spatial resolutions. Detailed delineation of drainage networks is the first step for many natural resource management studies. Compared with interpretation from aerial photographs or topographic maps, auto

The overestimation of these parameters absolutely leads to serious problems throughout and after well drilling. This study is concerned with the characterization and analysis of the most significant diagenetic processes that degrade or improve the reservoir characteristics of the Mauddud Formation in the Badra oil field. The primary goal of this research is to estimate the pore pressure and fracture pressure using well logging data by Techlog 2015 software in order to assess the impact on the estimation of the mud weight window (MWW). The estimated values of formation pressures are then analyzed according to different diagenetic p

Here, the effect of lead on biofilm formation by Bacillus spp. isolated from soil in terms of biofilm formation and remove was studied. In present study, 10 isolates of Bacillus spp were isolated from soil. The ability of all isolates to form biofilm was evaluated. The effect of lead on biofilm formation was studied by adding lead (pb) before forming biofilm. In another experiment the lead was added after biofilm formation to study the effect of lead on biofilm remove. The current study, showed the ability of all studied isolates to form biofilm.
