Callus Induction and Shoot Formation for Mexican Red Bean (Phaseolus vulgaris L.) Pinto Cultivar in Vitro
...Show More Authors

The current study aimed to adopt a method for inducing callus cells and regenerating the important common red bean using different types of growth regulators such as N6-benzylaminopurine (BAP), Naphthalene acetic acid (NAA), and Thidiazuron (TDZ). Different types of common bean pinto cultivar explants, such as internodes, cotyledons and roots, were inoculated on Murashige and Skoog medium (MS) provided with different combinations of plant growth regulators, including 1- BAP (5 mg/l) 2-BAP (4.5 mg/l) NAA (0.5 mg/l), 3- BAP (4.5 mg/l), and TDZ (0.1mg/l). Callus was initiated on MS culture medium supplied with 5 mg/l BAP for all explants (internodes, cotyledons, and roots) at 50, 20, and 10% respectively, while adding NAA with 0.5mg/l showed a low percentage of callus (30%) only in the internode explants. Optimum results were obtained by growing the internodes on MS medium with 4.5 mg/l BA and either 0.5 mg/l NAA or 0.1 mg/l TDZ, transplanting the derived shoots into internodes and cotyledons with 70 and 10% respectively. This study concludes that the internodes as explants have the best growth results

In Vitro Propagation of Groundnut (Arachis hypogea L.)
...Show More Authors

A protocol has been developed for micropropagation of Arachis hypogea L. under in
vitro conditions. Nodal explants gave rise to multiple shoots when cultured on MS medium
supplemented with different concentrations of BA (benzyladenine) with Kin (Kinetin) or GA3
(gibberellic acid). The highest response of shoot multiplication was obtained in MS
containing 1.5 mg.l¯¹ BA and 0.5 mg.L¯¹ Kin. The regenerated shootlets were rooted on MS
(Murashige and Skoog) basal medium with different concentrations of IBA (indolbutyric
acid) and IAA (indol acetic acid). The highest response of rooting was achieved with IBA at
0.05 + IAA at 0.05 mg.L¯¹. The maximum frequency of rooting and highest number of roots

CORRELATIVE INFLUENCE OF SEEDLING AGE, COTYLEDONS AND TERMINAL BUDS ON ADVENTITIOUS ROOT FORMATION IN STEM CUTTINGS OF MUNG BEAN
...Show More Authors

Rooting response in stem cuttings of mung bean increased considerably with inresing
seedling age, due to endogenous IAA or supplied IBA. However, after the day 7- or 8-old of
seedling age. The cotyledons sheivel and drop-off spontaneously at day-8 of seedling age. So
that cotyledons excision after cuttings were made during the period between seedling
emergence (the day 4) and cotyledons dropping off (which starts at day 8 and its completion
at day 10) causes decrease in rooting at any time during cutting treatment ,in particular, at
zero time . In addition, results of this study revealed that terminal buds do not influence
significantly adventitious root formation whether IBA supplied or not. Whereas in leafless

We live in a world where cultures and visions overlap .. Therefore, every society seeks to create a harmonization that is in line with the data of those special cultures and reproduces those cultures and defines their paths. There are cultures based on historical action and experience and others that work on historical displacement, and art is one of the most important means of transmitting cultures and establishing their aesthetic harmony. This research is concerned with studying (cultural patterns and their representations in contemporary Mexican painting) and it falls into four chapters. The first chapter is devoted to explaining the research problem, its importance, the need for it, the goal of the research, and identifying th
