The current research aims to identify the effect of the note-taking strategy (CORNELL) on systematic thinking among second-grade female students in government daytime secondary and intermediate schools. Al-Fadhila School was intentionally chosen to be its student sample for the research affiliated with the First Karkh Directorate for the academic year (2024-2025). Then one of the two sections was randomly chosen to represent the experimental group that studies according to the note-taking strategy (CORNELL) and the other the control group that studies according to the usual method. The equivalence of the two research groups was verified by a set of variables, which were represented by chronological age in months, previous achievement in chemistry, Raven intelligence test, previous information test), and it was concluded that the two groups were equivalent. As for the research tool, a scale of systematic thinking skills was built, which is represented by four main areas divided into thirty-seven paragraphs. After applying the scale, it was found that there was a statistically significant difference at the level (0.05) between the average scores of the experimental group students who studied according to the strategy and the average scores of the control group students who studied According to the usual method in favor of the experimental group, and in light of that, a set of recommendations and conclusions were developed.
Background: Malnutrition during human growth affects the size of the tissues at different stages of life, body proportions, body chemistry, as well as quality and texture of tissues. Teeth are particularly sensitive to malnutrition. Malnutrition may affect odontometric measurement involving tooth size dimensions. The aim of this study was to estimate the effect of nutrition on teeth size dimension measurements among students aged 15 years old. Materials and methods: This study was conducted among malnourished group in comparison to well-nourished group matching with age and gender. The present study included 167 students aged 15 years (83 malnourished and 84 well-nourished). The assessment of nutritional status was done by using body mass
... Show MoreThe present study aimed to investigate effect of Pregabalin (PGB) on ovary tissue and number of follicles in female albino rats. Three groups of healthy adult female albino rats, fifteen rats in each group were used in current study. The rats of groups, G2 and G3 were administered orally with two doses 150 mg and 300mg/kg b.wt/day of pregabalin, respectively. The doses were given daily for 1 month, 2 months, and 3 months. Animals of group G1 (Control) were given saline alone. After the experimental periods, the rats were sacrificed and the isolated ovaries were histologically examined. The results of histological analysis of the ovaries in treated rats (G2, and G3) showed a significant (P≤0.05) decrease in the number of preantral, antral,

The demands of professional, scientific, and academic life have made it necessary to identify the various difficulties faced by postgraduate female students, which lead to problems that hinder their achievement of the required goals. This necessitates directing efforts toward finding solutions to confront and solve problems through appropriate cognitive behavior. Therefore, this study aimed to identify information processing styles and problem-solving and their relationship with metamotivation and perceived control among postgraduate female students (PhD/Master's). To achieve this aim, the descriptive approach using the survey method was adopted due to its suitability to the nature of the research problem. The population was defined

Show MoreThe current research aims to identify the digital competencies of kindergarten teachers, and to determine the significance of the difference in digital competencies according to the variable of years of service (10 years and below - 11 years and above), and the significance of the difference in digital competencies according to the age variable (35 years and below - 36 years and above) among kindergarten teachers. The research sample consisted of (133) kindergarten teachers in Baghdad/Al-Karkh Second for the academic year 2025-2026, who were selected by the simple random method. To achieve the research objectives, the Digital Competencies Scale was constructed in its final form consisting of (21) items, after ensuring its validity and relia
