Translation is a vital process that needs much more understanding and mutual background knowledge on the part of ESL or EFL learners in terms of grammar , meaning and context of both the SL and TL . Thus , the main aim of the current research paper is to identify and figure out the techniques used by ESL or EFL learners when translating English barnyard verbs into Arabic . The main problem of this study is attributed to the fact that ESL or EFL learners may not be able to identify and understand the connotative meaning of barnyard verbs since these verbs are onomatopoeic (i.e,) a word that phonetically imitates, or suggests the source of sound that it describes. Therefore they may be unable to translate these verbs appropriately and accurately. For example, the verb "coo" has a denotative sense in that it refers to the natural sound of dove or pigeon , but when children "coo" , that means they speak gently which is a connotative meaning . Accordingly, the ESL or EFL learners may not know the connotative meaning of such verbs because these verbs have different associations and suggestions. Then, ESL or EFL learners may use different techniques in translating these verbs. The most important conclusions that this paper has come to can be summarized as : firstly , denotative meaning of barnyard verbs has something to do with the use of words whose meaning suggests the onomatopoeic sense , whereas connotative meaning , has something to do with the meaning that is implied by a word apart from the thing which it describes explicitly ; secondly, denotatively speaking , barnyard verbs are phonetically described, whereas connotatively speaking , they are semantically described . Consequently , it is somehow easy to figure out denotative meaning of barnyard verbs , but it is hard to identify and understand connotative meaning of these verbs due to the fact that they have different meanings with different contexts ; thirdly , translating English barnyard verbs may cause a difficulty since that what might be expressed onomatopoeically in one language may not have a counterpart that reflects similar sound effects in another. Therefore , ESL or EFL learners as well as the translators may resort to some techniques like equivalence , paraphrasing and modulation to convey the propositional content (or the connotative meaning) of these verbs .
Objective conditions for the possibility of punishment are legal or material facts –positive or negative that depart from the activity of the offender. The legislator comments on their subsequent verification on the formation of some crimes the possibility of.The application of punishment to the offender , but although they are facts of an object nature that approach and overlap with many systems and cases , they are distinguished by a certain subjectivity that differentiates them from each case that may seem similar or approach them. To clarify the ambiguity that may surround these conditions , Which may lead to confusion between them and what be similar to other cases due to the common effect that they have in common , which is the f

Methods Silanated hydroxyapatite (HA) and zirconium dioxide (ZrO2) filled low-density polyethylene (LDPE) composites were fabricated by a melt extrusion process and characterised using infrared spectroscopy (FTIR), differential scanning calorimetry (DSC) and dynamic mechanical analysis (DMA). The flexural strength and modulus were determined in dry state and post ageing in simulated body fluid and fractured surfaces analysed by SEM. The water uptake and radiographic appearance of the experimental composites were also measured and compared with a commercially known endodontic fibre

Practically, torsion is normally combined with flexure and shear actions. Even though, the behavior of reinforced concrete continuous beams under pure torsion is investigated in this study. It was performed on four RC continuous beams under pure torsion. In order to produce torsional moment on the external supports, an eccentric load was applied at various distances from the longitudinal axis of the RC beams until failure.
Variables considered in this study are absolute vertical displacement of the external supports, torsional moment’s capacity, angle of twist and first cracks occurrences. According to experimental results; when load eccentricity increased from 30cm to 60cm, the absolute vertical displacement i

The research is aimed to determine an equation to estimate the annual maintenance cost for public hospital. To achieve this aim, Al-Sader City Hospital maintenance system in Al-Najaf province has been studied with its main elements through survey of data, records and reports relating to maintenance during the years of the study 2008-2014 and to identify the strengths, weaknesses, opportunities and threat points in the current system through Swat analysi

In order to achieve the aims of the study, a questionnaire including four areas, namely: (professional features, academic knowledge and pedagogy, teaching and learning, and professional development) was constructed.
The questionnaire was applied to a population which consisted of 60 supervisors of all school subjects in the Directorates of Education in

In this study two types of co-solvents ( formamide and N-methyl, 2, pyrrolidone) were blended with furfural to extract aromatic hydrocarbons which are the undesirable materials in raw lubricating oil, in order to improve the viscosity index, viscosity and yield of produced lubricating oil. The studied operating condition are extraction temperature range from 70 to 110 °C for formamide and 80 to 120 °C for N-methyl, 2, pyrrolidone, solvent to oil ratio range from 1:1 to 2:1 (wt./wt.) for furfural with form
