Fluorescent Carbon Quantum Dots (CQDS) are a new kind of carbon nanoparticles that have appeared recently and have collected much interest as potential competitors to conventional semiconductor quantum dots (QDs). In addition to their comparable fluorescent properties, CQDs have the desired specifications of environmental friendliness, low toxicity, simple synthetic routes, low cost and surface passivation The functionalization of CQDS allow the control of their physicochemical properties. The main aim of this kind of researches is to account the variables that cannot be measured directly from practical experiments. Therefore, the work here is focused on the account energy gap of bulk (Eg bulk) by theoretically method (simulation) after
... Show MoreThe aim of this work is to study a modified version of the four-dimensional Lotka-Volterra model. In this model, all of the four species grow logistically. This model has at most sixteen possible equilibrium points. Five of them always exist without any restriction on the parameters of the model, while the existence of the other points is subject to the fulfillment of some necessary and sufficient conditions. Eight of the points of equilibrium are unstable and the rest are locally asymptotically stable under certain conditions, In addition, a basin of attraction found for each point that can be asymptotically locally stable. Conditions are provided to ensure that all solutions are bounded. Finally, numerical simulations are given to veri

We mean indeterminacy hollow module is neutrosophic hollow module B (shortly Ne(B)) such that it is not possible to specify the conditions for satisfying it. Some concepts have been studied and introduced, for instance, the indeterminacy local module, indeterminacy divisible module, indeterminacy indecomposable module and indeterminacy hollow-lifting module. Also, we investigate that if Ne(B) is an indeterminacy divisible module with no indeterminacy zero divisors, then any indeterminacy submodule Ne(K) of Ne(B) is an indeterminacy hollow module. Further, we study the relationship between the indeterminacy of hollow an

Films of pure PMMA and PMMA with different volume of coumarin dye (5, 15, 25 and 35) ml were prepared using the casting technique. Transmission and absorption of the films were measured by using UV-VIS spectrometer technique type (100 Conc), in order to assess the type of transmission which was found an indirect transition. An optical energy gap of pure PMMA is (4.95e v) and after adding coumarin with volume (25, 35) ml, the energy gap for PMMA decrease by (0.05) compere to pure PMMA films and addition energy gap appear equal to (4.1 e v). It was found that the absorption coefficient, extinction coeff

Studies looking at the relationship between condensation and viability show mixed results. This study sheds light on how the built environment of dense urban areas affects the perceived quality of life of the population. How to enhance acceptance of dense life is an important question to investigate.
Adopting the concept of urban densification in city planning policies to be more sustainable and livable is of great importance by achieving efficient use of urban land and limiting urban sprawl, as well as reducing the
... Show MoreIn this paper, the relationship between urban growth, land use, site availability, and impacts on the general appearance of the city generated by functional characteristics of port cities were analyzed. Various data were used to identify patterns of land use change and city growth and expansion. The research aims to analyze the impact of the port on the growth of the city, study the urban growth of the city of Umm Qasr and predicting the growth trends, and to identify the most influential factors in this growth. The study dealt with the concepts of urban growth and the factors that characterize the growth of port cities and the current situation of the city. The practical part included the mechanisms used by the researcher to analyze the

In this study, the upgrading of Iraqi heavy crude oil was achieved utilizing the solvent deasphalting approach (SDA) and enhanced solvent deasphalting (e-SDA) by adding Nanosilica (NS). The NS was synthesized from local sand. The XRD result, referred to as the amorphous phase, has a wide peak at 2Θ= (22 - 23º) The inclusion of hydrogen-bonded silanol groups (Si–O–H) and siloxane groups (Si–O–Si) in the FTIR spectra. The SDA process was handled using n-pentane solvent at various solvent to oil ratios (SOR) (4-16/1ml/g), room and reflux temperature, and 0.5 h mixing time. In the e-SDA process, various fractions of the NS (1–7 wt.%) have been utilized with 61 nm particle size and 560.86 m²/g surface area in the presence of 12 m
