(Received 21 May 2019, Revised 30 September 2019, Accepted 21 October 2019)ABSTRACT : The results of the current study showed that the liver of H. javanicus appeared as large lobulated organ dividedinto six distinct lobes, that filled the cranial region and little extended to the middle region of abdominal cavity. On the otherhand, liver of S. carolinensis laid against the diaphragm, occupied the cranial region of the abdominal cavity and consisted of fivelobes. The liver is surrounded with a thin capsule of dense regular collagenous connective tissue and few numbers of smoothmuscles fibers can be seen in the capsule that covered the squirrel liver. The liver parenchyma divided into a large number ofinterconnected hepatic lobules marked only by the abundant amount of connective tissue bordered the triads, and within theselobules, polyhedral shaped hepatocytes are arranged as cords of one cell thick. The liver cords are enclosed by irregular hepaticsinusoids and ordered in radial fashion around the central vein. The portal areas are consisting of branches of the hepatic portalvein and hepatic artery as well as (1-4) branches of the bile duct that appear in different sizes.Cuboidal epithelium type is lined the small branches of these ducts, while the large sized of them is lined by columnarepithelium type, in which the goblet cells appeared to be more frequently and clearer in H. javanicus than S. carolinesis. Inweasel, sometimes the triad structures of large and small sized portal areas are embedded together in one abundant mass ofconnective tissue.
Background: Automobile spray painting is considered an occupation with a high risk of respiratory impairment and asthma. Exposure to organic solvents used for spraying might be of high risk for development of dysfunction in other organs.
Objective: The study was designed to evaluate the pulmonary and hepatic toxicity due to exposure of automobile painters to organic solvents in work places within the Baghdad governorate area.
Methods: Thirty cross sectional selected male workers employed in automobile body paint shops in two industrial areas within Baghdad city (Al-Sheikh Omar and Al-Rasheed camp regions) were recruited to the study during the period from March to May 2012. Thirty non-exposed students and employees in the college o
The research aims to evaluate Evaluation of the investments Iraqi fund for External development through the application of financial tools to a number of companies of the Iraqi Fund for External Development, and from the point of view to achieve the best returns from investment and the feasibility of the investments of the Iraqi Fund for External Development and the research community represents the Iraqi Fund for External Development and the amount of (28) A company, while the research sample is (4) companies (the Arab Petroleum Transportation Services Company, the Arab Iraqi Company for Livestock Development, the Bauhaus Company for prefabricated buildings and mineral installations, the Arab Fisheries Company) that were chosen
... Show MoreThe blade pitch angle (BPA) in wind turbine (WT) is controlled to maximize output power generation above the rated wind speed (WS). In this paper, four types of controllers are suggested and compared for BPA controller in WT: PID controller (PIDC), type-1 fuzzy logic controller (T1-FLC), type-2 fuzzy logic controller (T2-FLC), and hybrid fuzzy-PID controller (FPIDC). The Mamdani and Sugeno fuzzy inference systems (FIS) have been compared to find the best inference system used in FLC. Genetic algorithm (GA) and Particle swarm optimization algorithm (PSO) are used to find the optimal tuning of the PID parameter. The results of500-kw horizontal-axis wind turbine show that PIDC based on PSO can reduced 2.81% in summation error of power

Show MoreThe relationship between blood group antigens and peptic ulcer disease has been widely evaluated in the past, but only one study relating H pylori seroprevalence to ABO blood groups among Iraqi patients with peptic ulcer disease is available. We aimed to evaluate the frequency of peptic ulcer disease among different ABO blood groups in Iraqi patients, and we thought it was worthwhile to try to determine whether these components take some part in disease etiology. One hundred and six patients with peptic ulcer disease (PUD) (43 male and 63 female; mean age: 48 ± 18 years) who attended Baghdad teaching hospital and Al- Yarmouk teaching hospital endoscopy centers were enrolled , and 238 control Subjects. The present study addressed this problem through economic and parametric comparison of electrochemical harvesting using a sacrificial electrode (aluminum) and a nonsacrificial electrode (graphite). The harvesting efficiency, power consumption, and operation cost were collected as objective variables as a function of applied current and initial pH of the solution. The results indicated that high harvesting efficiency obtained by using aluminum anode is achieved in short electrolysis time. That harvesting efficiency can be enhanced by increasing the applied current or the electrolysis time for both electrode materials, where 98
... Show Morebased on the importance of public relations in companies, I will discussed the issue of public relations and its role in marketing national products, given what these companies represent of great importance in terms of providing products and services to large segments of Iraqi society, which necessitated the need to search and investigate the role and importance of activities that Provides public relations in Iraqi companies in all categories( public, private and mixed).
