The research seeks to identify the image of foreign oil companies operating in Iraq among the public of Basra, and the research aims to clarify the mental image of foreign oil companies among the Iraqi public, and to identify the extent to which the Iraqi public benefit from the social responsibility programs offered by foreign oil companies and their contribution to improving the standard of living and services for the population. Nearby areas and society as a whole, the research is classified within descriptive research, and the researcher used the survey method for the Iraqi public in Basra governorate, which includes the areas in which these companies are located, and he used the scale tool to find out, so he distributed 600 questionnaires to the respondents from these areas, and the researcher reached several Results, including The first hypothesis was achieved that the public relations of foreign oil companies contribute to building their mental image among the Iraqi public, and the second hypothesis, that is, there is an impact of the political, legislative and security environment on the mental image of foreign oil companies among the Iraqi public, and foreign oil companies focus on disseminating honest information, And that the names and nationalities of foreign oil companies affect the building of their image mentality of the public, and so on.

The Mishrif and Yamama Formation are the main reservoirs in the Garraf oilfield, Nasiriyah city, of the Euphrates Subzone, Mesopotamian Basin, Southern Iraq. The Garraf oilfield structural pattern corresponds with the similar anticline forming the oilfields of Rafidain and Dujaila and is parallel to the main trend of Zagros, indicating simple coaxial deformation.
The petrophysical properties are evaluated using the Interactive Petrophysics V3.5 software. The aim of the current study is to determine the elastic properties of carbonate rocks using ultrasonic method. Forty rock samples of Anah formation were collected at different depths from four wells drilled at the study area . The relationship between wave velocities and elastic properties of rocks was defined. Regression analyses to define these relations were applied. The results indicate that the elastic properties of the rocks show a linear relationship with both P- and S-wave velocities. The best relationship was obtained between both Young's modulus and Shear modulus with Vs in the determination of the coefficient ( R2 ), with values of 0.91 and 0.94, respectively.&n
