In this research , phthallic anhydride ring is opened with 4-methyl aniline and acetone as a solvent to results the compound [I] that reacted with dimethyl sulphate and anhydrous sodium carbonate formation to phathalate ester [II], while the acid hydrazide compound [III], was obtained from mixed the compound [II]with hydrazine hydrate, Synthesis four type of shiff bases[IV]a-d was synthesized from the reaction of acid hydrazide [III] with aromatic aldehyde or ketone , when reacted Shiff bases with phthalic anhydride or naphthalicanhydride,I get eight derivatives of oxazepine [V]a-d , [VI]a-d. The bacterial activity of the new compounds studied by four species of bacteria: Esherichia Coli, Enterobactecloacae (Gram negative) and staphylococcusaureus, Bacillus subtilis (Gram positive). These compounds were identified by FTIR, 1HNMR and Mass (of some of them).
Eighty five samples were taken from patients suffering from pneumonia. Seventy-eight isolates were diagnosed as following: Staphylococcus aureus (23), klebsiella pneumoniae (29), Streptococcus pneumoniae (15), Serratia sp. (4), Haemophilus influenzae (4) and Pseudomonas aeruginosa (3). The clinical isolates were tested for antibiotics sensitivity. They appeared highly resistance to penicillin G and Ampicillin at percentage 89.7 and 84.6% respectly while the results showed highly sensitivity to streptomycin at percentege of (12.8%). Schiff base of chitosan with Para-Dimethyl aminobenzaldehyde /PVA-Ag Nanocomposite have been prepared as antimicrobial polymer. The prepared chitosan Schiff base and chitosan Schiff base / PVA-Ag nanocomposite were characterized by FT-IR, SEM analysis and biological activity. The nanocomposite showed good activity against different types of bacteria.
A new ligand N-((4-(phenylamino) phenyl) carbamothioyl) acetamide (PCA) was synthesized by reaction of (4-amino di phenyl amine) with (acetyl isothiocyante) by using acetone as a solvent. The prepared ligand(PCA) has been characterization by elemental analysis (CHNS), infrared(FT-IR),electronic spectral (UV-Vis)&1H,13C- NMR spectra. Some Divalent Metal ion complexes of ligand (PCA) were prepared and spectroscopic studies by infrared(FT-IR), electronic spectral (UV-Vis), molar conductance, magnetic susceptibility and atomic absorption. The results measured showed the formula ofFall prepared complexes were [M (PCA)2 Cl2] (M+2 = Mn, Co, Ni, CU, Zn, Cd &Hg),the proposed geometrical structure for all complexes wereeoctahedral.
Mixed ligands reaction of [2-[(3-hydroxyphenyl)diazinyl]-1,2-benzothiazol-3(2H)-one-1,1-dioxide] (H2L, primary ligand) and bipyridyl (secondary ligand) with salts of Cr(III), Mn(II), Fe(III), Co(II) and Ni(II) was performed. A series of air-stable complexes with distinctive octahedral moieties was created by equal molar ratio (1:1:1). The formation of these compounds was verified using detecting analysis techniques incorporating mass spectra, which validated the achieved geometries. Show MoreThe antibacterial activity of some extracts of A. eupatoria (aqueous and ethanolic) against some pathogenic bacteria (Staphylococcus aureus, Pseudomonas aeruginosa and Escherichia coli ) and their activity on wound healing in rats , also the presence of some active compounds in both extracts were detected . The results showed that the ethanolic extract was more effective on inhibiting tested bacteria than the aqueous extract .
