X-ray phase analysis was used to analyse the composition of Pb₈Na_(2±x)(PO₄)₆ (lead-sodium apatite structure) with different X values (X values refer to changes in the excess or lack of sodium (2±X) in the apatite structure): -0.15, -0.10, -0.05, 0.00, +0.05, +0.10, and +0.15. The ceramic method (solid-state reaction) was used to synthesize all samples at a temperature of 800 °C. Many programs, such as match software (v.3), PDF-4 database (ICCD), and database PDF-4 (ASTM), were used to study the single phases. Five subsurface sections covering the entire length of the Jeribe Limestone Formation (Early Middle Miocene) were studied from four oilfields in northern Iraq. It is hoped to unravel this formation microfacies ; depositional environment; diagenetic attributes and their parental processes; and the relationship between these processes and the observed porosity patterns. In this paper, a description of a design for new DES block cipher, namely DES64X and DES128X. The goals of this design, a part of its security level, are large implementation flexibility on various operating systems as well as high performances. The high level structure is based on the principle of DES and Feistel schema, and proposes the design of an efficient key-schedule algorithm which will output pseudorandomsequences of subkeys. The main goal is to reach the highest possible flexibility, in terms of round numbers, key size, and block size. A comparison of the proposed systems on 32-bit, 64-bit operating system, using 32-bit and 64-bit Java Virtual Machine (JVM), showed that the latter has much better performance than the former.
