Potential health and environmental effects of nanoparticles need to be thoroughly assessed before their widespread commercialization. The present investigation was planned with the aims to determine the effects of gold nanoparticles (GNPs) on blast (BI) and mitotic (MI) indices of cultured lymphocytes. The results revealed that BI (50.3±2.3, 30.2±1.9, 10.5±0.7 and 0.0%, respectively) and MI (70.1±2.9, 20.4±1.1, 5.3±0.1 and 0.0%, respectively) showed a gradual decreased percentage as the concentration of GNPs was increased from 0.085 to 0.66 µg/mL, and the difference was significant compared to control culture (81.6±2.5 and 90.2±3.7%, respectively). Two hundred fifty mid-stream urine specimens were collected from Baqubah Teaching Hospital and Al-Batool Teaching Hospital from patients with urinary tract infections (UTI). Of these investigated urine specimens, 66 (26.4%) specimens showed positive growth culture of Gram-negative bacteria. This study was designed to evaluate the ability of bioemulsifier to inhibit the growth of some pathogenic microorganisms. Fourteen isolates belonged to Serratia sp. were collected and tested for their ability to produce bioemulsifier. Results showed that Serratia marcescens S10 (isolated from the gut of the American cockroach) had the highest ability to produce bioemulsifier, among 14 isolates belong to Serratia spp. and it had the ability to inhibit the growth of some microorganisms. important bacterial pathogen that can cause several
disease to human being . In our study we try to
investigate the sensitivity resistance pattern of
Escherichia coli against three antibiotics ( Amikacin,
Nalidixic acid and Cephalexin).
Methods: For this purpose we collected 51 clinical
isolates of Escherichia coli from stool and urine of
outpatient and inpatient patients from different wards

    The main objective of this work is to generalize the concept of  fuzzy algebra by introducing the notion of  fuzzy algebra. Characterization and examples of the proposed generalization are presented, as well as several different properties of  fuzzy algebra are proven. Furthermore, the relationship between fuzzy algebra and fuzzy algebra is studied, where it is shown that the fuzzy algebra is a generalization of fuzzy algebra too. In addition, the notion of restriction, as an important property in the study of measure theory, is studied as well. Many properties of restriction of a nonempty family of fuzzy subsets of fuzzy power set are investigated and it is shown that the restriction of fuzzy algebra is fuzzy algebra too.

   In this work, CdO:In/Si heterojunction solar cell has been made by vacuum evaporation of cadmium oxide doped with 1% of indium thin film onto glass and silicon substrates with rate deposition (3.9A/sec) and thickness(≈250nm). XRD was investigated, the transmission was determined in range (300-1100)nm and the direct band gap energy is 2.43 eV, I-V characterization of the cell under illumination was investigated , the cell shows an open circuit voltage (Voc) of 0.6 Volt, a short circuit current density (Jsc) of 12.8 mA/cm2, a fill factor (F.F) of 0.66, and a conversion efficiency (η) of 5.2%.

Groundwater quality investigation has been carried out in the western part of Iraq (west longitude '40°40). The physicochemical analyses of 64 groundwater samples collected from seven aquifers were used in the determination of groundwater characterization and assessment. The concept of spatial hydrochemical bi-model was prepared for quantitative and qualitative interpretation. Hydrogeochemical data referred that the groundwater is of meteoric origin and has processes responsible for observed brackishness.
