The current research to study the petrography, mineralogy and geochemical relationships of the ultramafic rocks in the Galalah area within Erbil Governorate, at the Unstable Shelf in the Imbricate Zone, to determine the origin of the ultramafic rocks.

      Dunite and Harzburgite are the most abundant rock bodies in the study area, and they represent most of the outer surface exposure of the ultramafic rock aggregates. The dunite rocks are characterized by pale brown color on the altered surface that is broken into olive green and dark green lithic. Dunite represents a homogenous lithologic feature that mainly consists predominately of olivine with accessory spinel and traces of orthopyroxene. While the harzburgite appears as

 During the period from September 2013 till the end of July 2014 ,a total of 340 birds Passer domesticus were collected from Tikrit city . The study revealed the infection of birds with seven species of  cestoda  helminthes , belonging to the genus Raillietin . These species included  R. tetragona , R. echinobothrida , R. cesticellus and R. ransomi with prevalence infection of 36.1% , 30.1% . 15.0 % and 1.8 % respectively . And the genus Choanotaenia . These species included  C. infundibulum and C. passerine with pervatence infection of 15.0% and 0.6% respectively . And the genus Anonchotuenia . There are many problems in its definition, age, stratigraphy and aerial distribution. Previously in most parts of the Sulaymaniyah, it is not mapped and its outcrops combined with Balambo Formation while in the present study it is differentiated, mapped in the field on the Qaywan anticline and its problems discussed in details with a suggestion of solutions.
