This study aims to simulate and assess the hydraulic characteristics and residual chlorine in the water supply network of a selected area in Al-Najaf City using WaterGEMS software. Field and laboratory work were conducted to measure the pressure heads and velocities, and water was sampled from different sites in the network and then tested to estimate chlorine residual. Records and field measurements were utilized to validate WaterGEMS software. Good agreement was obtained between the observed and predicted values of pressure with RMSE range between 0.09–0.17 and 0.08–0.09 for chlorine residual. The results of the analysis of water distribution systems (WDS) during maximum demand hours showed that the pumps unit capability cannot cover the high water demand during that time and resulted in a loss of pressure values, which were ranged between 0.2 and 2.1 bar. Moreover, the simulated results of the residual chlorine levels were within the permissible limits of 0.4–0.7 ppm, in different locations in the network. Providing good quality and adequate water supply is an important component for human life development. Modeling WDS is an efficient method of gaining a true understanding of the functioning of the network and determining the factors and conditions affecting the performance of the network.
Proteus mirabilis isolates have been intensively researched for their capacity to cause urinary tract infections (UTIs) and their swarming motility, although little is known about this phenomenon. Probiotic Lactobacillus species, which are beneficial bacteria, are being studied worldwide as therapeutic and preventative agents against bacterial infections. This study investigated Lactobacillus supernatants as a potential new treatment against Proteus mirabilis. In addition to testing their antimicrobial and anti-swarming activities, the research also aimed to understand the genetic mechanisms behind the observed phenotypic changes. Methods. A total of 150 urine specimens were collected from UTI patients at various hospitals in Baghdad. Dire

Thus, the present paper is qualitative, explorative, and experimental in nature; it is limited to the domain of teachers only. Langacker’s model of Domain Analysis (1987) and Endicott and Lee’s presentation of survival dimensions have been adopted and adapted to meet the first objective. Secondly, an open-ended questionnaire has been submitted to (200) participants to examine their knowledge of these qualities. The study concluded that all qualities can be grouped into three matrix domains: CONTENT, DESIGN, and DELIVERY, which are the same dimensions of presentation survival. Under the CONTENT domain come the foll

During the educational practices in the Spanish department at the Faculty of Languages , University of Baghdad , we noticed that the personal pronouns in effect replaced by the direct and indirect characterized hardly be expressed , and the difficulty of her education.
Rationale: I chose this topic because the personal pronouns differ between the Spanish language and the Arabic language. We believe that this study may be useful not only for language teachers, but also for students, because it can contribute to a greater awareness of and correct weaknesses.
Objectives: To apply the model from which to address the problems in the use of personal pronouns Spanish , and the difference between effect of direct and indire

Shock waves from outside the body frame are centered at a kidney stone inflicting the stone to fragment. The success of the (ESWL) treatment is based on some variables such as age, sex, stone quantity stone period and so on. Thus, the prediction the success of remedy by this method is so important for professionals to make a decision to continue using (ESWL) or tousing another remedy technique.
