Introduction: The mammals digestive system demonstrates various structural and functional adaptations to their diverse offeeding habits, and the digestive system representing a function link between food-seeking activities and energy conservationby allocating energy to different events.Aim of the Work: This study was aimed to compare the histological structure of the liver in the domestic cat ( F. catus) andCaucasian squirrel (S. anomalus), which differ in their feeding pattern.Materials and Methods: In the present study, ten adult animals were used including five of F. catus and five of S. Caucasian,Samples were obtained from local market in Baghdad . Samples fixed using formalin (10%) to prepare all specimens for thehistological study. The samples are passed through an ascending series of alcohols including (70%, 80%, 90%, 100%); thencleared the samples by xylene. The obtained section were stained with Haris Haematoxylin and using the Eosin stain. Results: This study revealed that the liver in the domestic cat and Caucasian squirrel is located on the upper right side ofthe abdominal cavity. Histologically, the liver in both studied animals is surrounded by a thin capsule of connective tissuecontaining scattered nuclei of smooth fiber cells. From this capsule, septa are extend into the visceral tissue of the liver. Theinternal tissue of the liver consists of hepatocytes in the form of cords located around the central vein, which located in thecore of lobule and in a radial manner. These cells are polygonal in shape and have a single spherical, large and central nucleusor binucleated. The cords are branch out and create spaces between them, forming blood sinuses that contain red blood cells;these cords were noticed to be more numerous in the domestic cat than in Caucasian squirrel. The sinusoids are lined withendothelial cells containing an elongated spindle-shaped nucleus. Furthermore, another type of cell was also detected in thesinusoidal space called phagocytic kupffer cells. In addition, the portal area is found in both studied animals at the peripheryof the lobule and consists of the hepatic artery, hepatic portal vein, and the bile duct, and this duct is lined with high or lowsimple cuboidal epithelium. Conclusion: The present study concluded that the liver in both studied animals is surrounded by a capsule of connective tissuefrom which septa are extend into the liver. Furthermore, the histological structure of the liver contains cords of hepatocytes. These cords contain blood sinusoids containing red blood cells and spindle-shaped endothelial cells. In addition, another typeof cells appeared in both studied animals, called Kupffer cells. In contrast, the portal area was found in both animals at theperiphery of each lobule
The research explored the impact of applying lean thinking With all that carries this term of goals, trends, principles, foundations and concepts, The possibility of applying it in institutions, including Ur public company, an industrial company, And the only one in Iraq specialized in the manufacture of cables, Electrical Wires and the aluminum industry ,Which has been applied to the curriculum of lean thinking , The problem of research is that the institutions, including the company (research sample), adopt and practice traditional administrative, financial and technical methods without relying on modern curricula and ideas, including the subject of our research, In order to achieve the research objectives, the research was divided int
... Show MoreIn this article, the lattice Boltzmann method with two relaxation time (TRT) for the D2Q9 model is used to investigate numerical results for 2D flow. The problem is performed to show the dissipation of the kinetic energy rate and its relationship with the enstrophy growth for 2D dipole wall collision. The investigation is carried out for normal collision and oblique incidents at an angle of . We prove the accuracy of moment -based boundary conditions with slip and Navier-Maxwell slip conditions to simulate this flow. These conditions are under the effect of Burnett-order stress conditions that are consistent with the discrete Boltzmann equation. Stable results are found by using this kind of boundary condition where d

Show MoreThe widespread use of the Internet of things (IoT) in different aspects of an individual’s life like banking, wireless intelligent devices and smartphones has led to new security and performance challenges under restricted resources. The Elliptic Curve Digital Signature Algorithm (ECDSA) is the most suitable choice for the environments due to the smaller size of the encryption key and changeable security related parameters. However, major performance metrics such as area, power, latency and throughput are still customisable and based on the design requirements of the device.
The present paper puts forward an enhancement for the throughput performance metric by p

Optical emission spectrometer was used to diagnosed medium air to study gold plasma characteristics and prepared Au nanoparticles. The laser pulse energy influence has been studied on the plasma characteristics in air. The data showed the emergence of the ionic (Au II) spectral emission lines in the gold plasma emission spectrum. XRD has been utilized to examine structural characteristics. Moreover, AFM results 37.2 nm as the mean value of the diameter that is coordinated in a shape similar to the rod that appears for Au NPs, in addition to that, TEM has been an indication of the fact that syn

The present work describes the synthesis of new Schiff-bases derived from branched aminosugars. Treatment of 3-Amino-3-Cyano-3-Deoxy-1,2:5,6-Di-O-Isopropylene-α-D-Allofuranose (1) with the aldehydes (2) under reflux in methanol afforded the Schiff-bases (3) in good yields. The new Schiff-bases were in accord with their NMR, IR spectral data and elemental analysis.
novel spectrofluorimetric flow injection analysis (FIA) method was developed for the selective quantification of ascorbic acid via fluorescence quenching of serotonin hydrochloride. The system employs a custom-designed photometric array comprising 16 irradiation sources arranged in a dual-axis matrix—eight aligned horizontally and eight orthogonally, enabling multi-angle excitation and enhanced spectral resolution. Fluorescence signals were captured using a twin-pair solar cell detector, offering high sensitivity and minimal optical interference. The method exhibited a linear calibration range of 0.1–30 limit of detection (LOD) of 0.025 μ μ g/mL with a correlation coefficient (r mol /L, equivalent to 4.403 * 10 4 μ 2 ) of 0.9966, a g

The method involves CPM reacting with sodium nitroprusside (Nitropress) to produce a pale white precipitate. The NAG-SSP-5S1D analyzer was used to measure turbidity at 0°–180° angle to detect the attenuation of incident light as a result of collision on the surfaces of the precipitate particles. The linear range of CPM measurements was between 0.008 and 11 m.mol/L, with correlation coefficient of 0.9983 and R2% = 99.65. The limit of detection was determined to be 0.0328 µg/sample from the lowest concentration in the calibration curve, and the repeatability of the method (RSD%) was less than 0.4% (n = 6

The structural, morphological and optical properties of the MWCNTs film were characterized by XRD, AFM and FTIR techniques. XRD measurement confirmed that the structure of MWCNTs is not affected by the preparation method. The AFM images reflected highly ordered network in the form of a mat. The functional groups and types of bonding have appeared in the FTIR spectra. The fingerprint (C-C stretch) of MWCNTs appears in 1365 cm-1, and the backbone of CNTs observed at 1645 cm-1.
