Comparative cytogenetic studies were carried out on males of two species of flour beetles, Rust flour beetle Tribolium castaneum and Confused flour beetle Tribolium confusum to investigate the karyotype. In these species, somatic chromosomes were arranged according to its  length except the sex chromosomes.  Results of this study showed that complete chromosomes karyotyping  (2n)  of      T.castaneum equaled to twenty chromosomes ( 2n=20, XY ) whereas (2n) T.confusum equaled eighteen chromosomes ( 2n= 18,XY). In the two species the sex   chromosome Y was the shortest chromosome and had length of average ± standard error in T.castaneum equaled to 1.500 ± 0.0  µm whereas

    Two local fish Himri Carasobarbus luteus (Heckel, 1843)  and Hishni Liza abu (Heckel, 1843) were stained with Alizarin Red and featured some anatomical qualities which cleared the difference of the muscular and skeletal fabric for each fish. Since clear Histologic differences appeared in these two species, it was intended from this study the possibility of adopting a diagnosis between local fish species by staining bones and tissues.

The effect of aluminum potassium sulfate evaluated by two methods, first one include incorporation of KAL (SO4)2 into soft liner monomer in concentration (2%,3% by wt.) while the second method include immersion of soft liner specimens in solution of KAL(SO4)2 in concentration(5%,10% percent) during time periods (0,10 minutes). Background: In this study we evaluate the effect of plasma treatment (oxygen and argon) gas in two different exposure times on the surface of heat cure and light cure acrylic resin. Materials and method: 100 specimens of heat cure and light cure acrylic resin were fabricated. gallinarurn Theiler. 1919 on the digestive system of the seesee partridge collected from Qa’ra
area in the western desert district of Iraq. along with some notes on intensity fluctuation of the
parasite according to the seasons. It is found that the major effects of the nematode are
necrosis and fibrosis of gizzard: granulomatous reaction. necrosis and mononuclear
infiltration of proventriculus: damage of mucosal lining of intestine and lymphocytic
infiltration of liver.
