A comparative study between students of smokers and non-smokers in endurance antenna
...Show More Authors

Subjects took physical fitness for health imposed on the area of research that have become an important and clear answer to the many problems resulting from the nature of dealing with modern life current actions that were needed to be hours of manual work has become accomplished by modern technology circumstance minutes, and mediated equipment And machinery. The lack of traffic rights and further burdens the intellectual and psychological pressures and the typical method of work has led to the identification of kinetic activity, thereby threatening public health in many ways stands at the forefront of these threats the problem of smoking, which causes many types of cancers, notably lung cancer. The most important reasons that led to This dramatic increase in the incidence of smoking is. It is scientifically clear that smoking causes changes in the bronchus and lung and causes contraction in the heart arteries, which in turn causes Alzbhakulbih. The problem lies in the weakness of research some elements of physical fitness for many reasons, shortcomings in training approved for the resistance process, so researchers realized that there are no small number of college students engage in the process of smoking and having a negative impact on the health of students. In general, athletes in particular. And trying to confirm the study to identify the harmful effects of smoking and the extent of their impact on the level of Almtolh Ditalab College, through the comparison between students of smokers and non-smokers to test Almtolh wind. The study was conducted on a sample of students at the first stage College of Physical Education Mustansiriyah University, who number (98) and one student (45) and smokers (53) non-smokers. Using descriptive approach. Kdajery them to test air Almtolh (ran and walked 800 m), after addressing the results obtained were reached: -- The existence of a moral difference between students of smokers and non-smokers to test Almtolh air and in the interest of students from non-smokers. In light of the results researchers recommend b: -- The need to set up courses and symposia confirmed the importance quit smoking because of its negative effects on the health of students -- Preventing students in the College of Physical Education from smoking inside the halls of sports.

This study has been performed for knowing the nutritional and chemical content of one kind chamomile tea for infant and children available in the pharmacy. The results have been showed that the percentage of essential compounds which represented with moisture, protein, fat, carbohydrate, ash and calories as 7.09%,0.01%,0.01%,92,81%, 0.08% and 371,37 Kal./100g, respectively of dry weight. Also the results have been showed that the percentage of chamomile plant extract that added to the tea as 5.74%. And the result of chemical test for effective materials in alcoholic extract showed consist Tannis, Glycosides, Flavonoids, Alkialoids, and Resins.

The Dental Caries Experience in Relation to Salivary Flow Rate, SIgA and Mutans Streptococci Bacteria in Smoker and Non-Smoker Patients
...Show More Authors

Background: Dental caries is a localized, progressive destructive, largely irreversible microbial based disease of multifactorial nature; these factors include (host, microbes and food) they influence differently on the initiation and progression of dental caries. The aims of the study: was to evaluate the effect of smoking on salivary flow rate, secretory immunoglobulin (SIgA) level and viable count of mutans streptococci (M.S) bacteria in oral cavity and their relation to dental caries experience. Material and method: The samples were collected from 80 male students ranging in ages from 18-22 years old. Where they divided in to two groups, 40 non-smokers (control group) and 40 smokers (study group). Unstimulated salivary samples were c

Study of the Interaction Between Reduced Graphene Oxide and NO2Gas Molecules via Density Functional Theory (DFT)
...Show More Authors

Electronic properties such as density of state, energy gap, HOMO (the highest occupied molecular orbital) level, LUMO (the lowest unoccupied molecular orbital) level and density of bonds, as well as spectroscopic properties like infrared (IR), Raman scattering, force constant, and reduced masses for coronene C24, reduced graphene oxide (rGO) C24O5and interaction between C24O5and NO2gas molecules were investigated. Density functional theory (DFT) with the exchange hybrid function B3LYP with 6-311G** basis sets through the Gaussian 09 W software program was used to do these calculations. Gaussian view 05 was em

A comparison between Bayesian Method and Full Maximum Likelihood to estimate Poisson regression model hierarchy and its application to the maternal deaths in Baghdad
...Show More Authors

Abstract:

This research aims to compare Bayesian Method and Full Maximum Likelihood to estimate hierarchical Poisson regression model.

The comparison was done by  simulation  using different sample sizes (n = 30, 60, 120) and different Frequencies (r = 1000, 5000) for the experiments as was the adoption of the  Mean Square Error to compare the preference estimation methods and then choose the best way to appreciate model and concluded that hierarchical Poisson regression model that has been appreciated Full Maximum Likelihood Full Maximum Likelihood  with sample size  (n = 30) is the best to represent the maternal mortality data after it has been reliance value param

A Comparison between High Ablative Versus Usual Dosages of Iodine-131 in Inducing Hypothyroidism After One Year of Therapy in Hyperthyroid Patients
...Show More Authors

Background: Radioactive iodine-131 therapy is highly effective in treating patients with hyperthyroidism. An ablative dose is preferred by a number of endocrinologists, and, a fixed dose protocol seems to be better than a calculated dose in real practice.

Objective: To check for hypothyroidism in hyperthyroid patients one year after RAI therapy, comparing between the results of high ablative versus usual dosages of RAI-131.

Methods:  This study included 174 hyperthyroid patients, 101 males and 73 females, divided into 2 groups, the first consisted of 162 patients given a usual fixed dose of RAI while the second consisted of 12 patients given a high fixed ablati

Evaluation of the Performance of Kernel Non-parametric Regression and Ordinary Least Squares Regression
...Show More Authors

Researchers need to understand the differences between parametric and nonparametric regression models and how they work with available information about the relationship between response and explanatory variables and the distribution of random errors. This paper proposes a new nonparametric regression function for the kernel and employs it with the Nadaraya-Watson kernel estimator method and the Gaussian kernel function. The proposed kernel function (AMS) is then compared to the Gaussian kernel and the traditional parametric method, the ordinary least squares method (OLS). The objective of this study is to examine the effectiveness of nonparametric regression and identify the best-performing model when employing the Nadaraya-Watson

Theatrical Visual System between the Cultural Identity and Globalization Culture Iraqi Theatre as Case Study: فرحان عمران موسى
...Show More Authors

It seems that the features of the theatrical discourse , since its early establishment by the Greeks, were cultural features specifically confined to that society. Such features determined the direction of the theatrical discourse for this state instead of that state. There could be some sort of similarity among those features , nevertheless they remained within the general humanitarian framework . What achieved relatedness were those features and particularities that distinguished the theatrical community. Such features and particularities vary from one show to another. This is what we call " Local Specificity" .The Iraqi theatrical memory has always emphasized the concept of Experimentation through originality and renewal since the arr

Abstract

Balance is a psychological need and a requirement of importance as the individual seeks to maintain it.  The research problem is summarized in the question: do students in the kindergarten department have a cognitive balance? The research aims to identify the cognitive balance of students in the kindergarten department and to identify if there are differences among students of the four stages according to the cognitive balance. The research community was limited to the students in the kindergarten department at the University of Baghdad / College of Education for Women and Al-Mustansiriya University / College of Basic Education and Iraqi University / College of Education for Women for the academic y
