Background: telogen effluvium is a form of non- scarring alopecia characterized by diffuse hair shedding, often of acute onset. It’s a reactive process caused by metabolic or hormonal stress or by medications. Generally, recovery is spontaneous within 6 months.
Objectives: is to shed a light on the clinic- epidemiological aspects and most important causes of telogen effluvium in Iraqi women.
Patients and methods: A total number of 100 female patients were seen in the period between March 2014 to March 2015 in the Dermatology Department of Baghdad Teachinhg Hospital / Medical City.  A group of birds were passively immunized by a transfer factor extracted from lymphocytes sensitized to adenovirus and then they were challenged by the virulent virus (adenovirus isolated from hydropericardium infected birds). The results indicatede that the groups of birds that received the transfer factor or sensitized lymphocytes were protected from having any grossly pathological changes and having a high level of anti adenovirus antibodies.

The survival of dried spores of A.flavus, Penicillia Spp., and Cladosporia Spp.inoculated into multivitamins and folic acid tablets were examined at different compression pressures.Survival of fungal spores decreased with increasing compression pressure. The level of survival at particular pressures was shown to depend on the size of the contaminating fungal spores.The lethal effect of tabletting was attributed to shearing forces upon the contaminating spores generated by interparticulate movement. This hypothesis was supported by the dependence of survival upon spore size.

Background- Every war in the world has its characteristics and the Iraqi Iranian war 1980-1988 has been neglected for along time due to political factors . this study tried to
illustrate some of the features of casualties during this war .
Methods – review of records of all veterans evacuated to an advanced dressing station (ADS) serving a corps sector over one year starting from the 1st of Jan. 1982 to the 31st of
Dec. 1982.
Results – the total number of casualties reached this station was 3020 veterans . Mortality rate before reaching to the station was about 20%. The majority of veterans (70%) were
evacuated to the next station and most of them (90%) were injured during combat. Severe injuries co
