Abstract ABSTRACT:BACKGROUND: Anterior cruciate ligament reconstruction (ACLR) is one of the most commonly performed orthopedic procedures. Technical factors especially correct tunnel placement play major role in its success. However its failure rate is still high (10%), and impingement of the graft on the posterior cruciate ligament (PCL) and the medial wall of the lateral femoral condyle is an important cause of failure. Wallplasty is a technique used to prevent graft impingement, but there is no consensus on its routine use.OBJECTIVE:Is to compare between the postoperative knee functional outcome and stability of arthroscopic ACLR performed with wallplasty versus those performed without wallplasty.PATIENTS AND METHODS: A prospective experimental non randomized study was performed on 32 patients (30 males and 2 females) who necessitated arthroscopic ACLR. The patients were divided into 2 groups, in group A (made of 16 patients) the reconstructions were done without wallplasty and in group B (made of 16 patients) were done with wallplasty. Three months postoperatively the two groups were compared in regard to Lasholm score changes (preoperative and postoperative), Lachman test, and Pivot shift test results.RESULTS: There was better improvement in Lasholm score in group B than in group A, and the difference was statistically significant (p value =0.036). Knee stability tests were better in group B than in group A, but the differences were statistically not significant.CONCLUSION: Wallplasty has statistically better functional outcome than non wallplasty in ACLR and it is recommended to be done routinely in all cases of ACLR.

Hybrid Transform. The algorithms examined in this paper do not require a DC estimation
method or interpolation. The reconstruction achieved using matrix manipulation based on
Modified Hybrid transform. Also adopted in this paper smart matrix (Detection Matrix) to detect
the missing blocks for the purpose of rebuilding it. We further asses the performance of the
Modified Hybrid Transform in lost block reconstruction application. Also this paper discusses
the effect of using multiwavelet and 3D Radon in lost block reconstruction.

Reconstruction an object from its Fourier magnitude has taken a great deal in the literature and there is still no obvious solution for the failure of this algorithm. In this paper, the frequent failure of the phase retrieval is discussed in details and it has been shown that when the object is cento-symmetric, the object support is vital element to ensure uniqueness while for asymmetric object; the asymmetric support of the object is not enough to ensure uniqueness but the reconstruction appear to include most of the information of the original object. This is also true for the reconstruction of a complex function.
Background. The anterior communicating artery (ACoA) complex consists of the ACoA, the pre-and post-communicating segments of the anterior cerebral artery, and the recurrent artery of Heubner. It is the most common site for anatomical variations in the circle of Willis. Such variations can mimic intracranial aneurysms. Case description. A 30-year-old female presented with recurrent episodes of extreme headache and bilateral tinnitus. A brain computed tomography (CT) scan showed no significant lesions, while her CT-angiography (CTA) showed an enlarged vascular lesion at the ACoA, raising the suspicion for an ACoA aneurysm. A digital elevation model (DEM) is a digital representation of ground surface topography or terrain. It can be represented as a raster (a grid of squares) and it is commonly estimated by utilizing remote sensing techniques, or from land surveying. In this research a 3D building of Baghdad university campus have been performed using DEM, where the easting, northing, and elevation of 400 locations have been obtained by field survey using global positioning system (GPS). The image of the investigated area has been extracted from QuickBird satellite sensor (with spatial resolution of 0.6 m). This image has been geo-referenced by selecting ground control points of the GPS. The rectification is running, using 1st order polynomial transformation.
