The reaction of starting materials (L-asCl2):bis[O,O-2,3;O,O-5,6-(chloro(carboxylic) methylidene)]- -L-ascorbic acid] with glycine gives new product bis[O,O-2,3,O,O-5,6-(N,O-di carboxylic methylidene N-glycine)-L-ascorbic acid] (L-as-gly) which is isolated and characterized by, Mass spectrum UV-visible and Fourier transform infrared spectrophotometer (FT-IR) . The reaction of the (L-as-gly) with M+2; Co(II) Ni(II) Cu(II) and Zn(II) has been characterized by FT- IR , Uv-Visible , electrical conductivity, magnetic susceptibility methods and atomic absorption and molar ratio . The analysis showed that the ligand coordinate with metal ions through mono dentate carboxylic resulting in six-coordinated with Co(II) Ni(II) Cu(II) ions while with Zn(II) ion was formed tetrahedral .The molar ratio and metal estimation showed , the ratio of( L-as-gly) to metal ions was (1:1) . (M/L).
The study showed that all extracts (aqueous, ethanolic and acetonic) of the leaves of Eucalyptus and Myrtus plants had a inhibitory effect on the growth of all types of yeasts studied, acetone extract recorded the highest inhibition of yeastat 100ppm concentration,The inhibition was 35mm, 34mm, 24mm and 20mm for Candida parapsilosis, Candida glabrata, Candida tropicalis and Candida albicans respectively, The experiments above showed the least significant differences at 0.05 level.The results ofE. Some new 2,5-disubsituted-1,3,4-oxadiazole derivatives with azo group were synthesized by known reactions sequence . The structure of the synthesized compounds were confirmed by physical and spectral means .
The current study aimed to isolate and diagnose Candida spp yeasts that cause candidiasis with a PCR device from patients reviewed for some hospitals in Baghdad city and by 190 samples, the study recorded 123 isolates and the total percentage of infection was 64.7% .Samples were taken from different clinical cases of the vagina, blood and mouth and the Candida spp were (70.37%, 41.26%, 86.95%) respectively. Five types of yeasts were isolated and diagnosed, namely C. albicans, C. tropicalis, C. parapsilosis, C. krusei and C.glabarta.
