16S rRNA gene sequence examination is an effective instrument for characterization of new pathogens in clinical specimens. Akey component of colonization, biofilm formation, and protection of the pragmatic human pathogen Pseudomonasaeruginosais the biosynthesis of the exopolysaccharide Psl.Extracellular polysaccharides, biofilm, are secreted by microorganisms into the neighboring environment and are significant for surface attachment and keeping structural safety within biofilms.Biofilm production is an important technique for the survival of P. aeruginosa, and its association with antimicrobial resistance represents a defy for patient therapeutics. The aim of the current research is to assess the antibiotic resistance manner and distribution of the pslA gene among biofilm producingP. aeruginosa isolates, which have beengained from some hospitals in Baghdad, Iraq. Twenty-five P. aeruginosa isolates were obtained fromDepartment of Biology, College of Science, University of Baghdad. TheP. aeruginosa isolates were recognized using standard bacteriological techniques. Drug susceptibility test was done by disk diffusion technique for all the isolates against five antimicrobial agents.DNA was extracted from twenty-fiveP. aeruginosa isolates, which were selected as being resistant to gentamicin using the polymerase chain reaction(PCR). A specific primer pair was used to amplify 16S rRNA by a conventional PCR technique. Biofilm development was measured by microtiter plate test. The results of 16S rRNA showed that all 25 selected isolates were resistant to gentamicin harbored this gene. Biofilm formation was observed in 24/25(96%) of the P. aeruginosa isolates. The possibility of biofilm formation was remarkablyrelatedtothe resistance to gentamicin. In addition, the pslA gene was existed in all biofilm and non-biofilm producing the selected isolates with a frequency of 100% (n = 25).16S rRNA sequencing can be used to identify genetically atypical P. aeruginosa isolates from different origins. Theresults of the currentresearch well clarified that the P. aeruginosa biofilm-forming isolates were more resistant to the tested antibiotics. What is more, because of wide spreading, it appears that the pslA gene is associated with biofilm formation.
Item Difficulty and Item Discrimination Coefficient for School and College Ability Tests (SCAT) Advanced Form in Classical Test Theory (CTT) and Item Response Theory (IRT) and the Correlation among Them Mohammad moqasqas Haifa T. Albokai Assistant Professor of Measurement and Evaluation Associate Professor of Measurement and Evaluation College of Education, Taibah University The aim of this study was to study the item difficulty and item discrimination of the SCAT (advance form) with CTT, and IRT, and to study the correlation among them. To do this, the researchers used the data of their previous study, which conducted in (2011). It consisted of (3943) subject. Show MoreA simple technique is proposed in this paper for estimating the coefficient of permeability of an unsaturated soil based on physical properties of soils that include grain size analysis, degree of saturation or water content, and porosity of the soil. The proposed method requires the soil-water characteristic curve for the prediction of the coefficient of permeability as most of the conventional methods. A procedure is proposed to define the hydraulic conductivity function from the soil water characteristic curve which is measured by the filter paper method. Fitting methods are applied through the program (SoilVision), after indentifying the basic properties of the soil such as Attereberg limits, specific gravity, void ratio, porosity, d

Whereas the appreciation in clothing is a reflection of a person's sense of artistic components and the application of this sense to the clothes of his choice. Regarding the differences in clothing tastes by the university students according to the following variables (gender, specialization, stage of study, age, monthly income), the current research is considered quantitative descriptive research that is concerned with studying a phenomenon that exists in reality, measuring it

The current research aims to: "Detect the transformations of form in postmodern art in the projects of students of the Department of Art Education".

The starting point focuses on the geographic characteristics, and the nature of its habitation, prior to laying the circular plan of Baghdad. Then the research proceeds to cover the stage of building the round city of Baghdad. The research continue to cover the expansion and sequential growth across the banks of Tigris river.
A concentrated attention is devoted to analyses the morphological, geographical and above all the makeup of present day city of Baghdad, pinpointing the apathetic plans, decisions, and actions which completely disfigured the image, and tradition of the old city of Baghdad, behind the delusive slogans of “comprehens
Baghdad is considered the largest city in Iraq, with a population of approximately nine million people, according to the 2022 statistics. Due to this population increase, the city of Baghdad has experienced horizontal expansion rather than vertical expansion, resulting in a shortage of basic services, an increase in population migration, and a rise in prices. Therefore, our research focuses on shedding light on the patterns of population concentrations in the city of Baghdad and the nature of population distribution within it. We addressed the topic from various angles, starting with the population distribution among the city's districts and their density. Additionally, we explored the factors influencing population density in the province
