Knowledge and awareness towards cryptosporidiosis were assessed in this study during the period from April 2009 till June 2011, among 188 person of both gender which were divided in different groups and sub groups as following Group 1: include 48 physician from different hospitals and primary health care centers in Baghdad this group were sub divided into 30 Specialist doctors and 18 General practitioners doctors. Group 2 : include 45 teaching staff member from Biology department , Biotechnology department in University of Baghdad and AL-Nahrain University as well as teaching staff member from the college of medicine – University of Baghdad and University of Mustansiryah, this group were sub divided into 9 Ph.D and 36 M.Sc. + B.Sc. member and Group 3: include 95 students from Biology department – University of Baghdad this group were sub divided into13 postgraduate students and 82 undergraduate students group from the last year in the college. Interview method was depended on a questioner made of three parts (general knowledge , mode of transmission and epidemiology + life cycle) . Results showed that the awareness was moderate towards cryptosporidiosis in the three groups of this study the mean of scores were (66.54 ± 14.69) towards all items of questioner, the mean of scores obtained in general knowledge part (72.39 ± 20.26) were higher than mean of scores obtained in both mode of transmission (63.93 ± 18.57) and epidemiology + life cycle part(63.29 ± 18.69) , gender are non significant factor affected in awareness towards cryptosporidiosis as well as there were no significant grade differences among the three groups in this study.

In this study, from a total of 856 mastitis cases in lactating ewes, only 34 Streptococcus agalactiae isolates showed various types of resistance to three types of antibiotics (Penicillin, Erythromycin and Tetracycline). St. agalactiae isolates were identified according to the standard methods, including a new suggested technique called specific Chromogenic agar. It was found that antibiotic bacterial resistance was clearly identified by using MIC-microplate assay (dilution method). This dissertation studies the application of equivalence theory developed by Mona Baker in translating Persian to Arabic. Among various translation methodologies, Mona Baker’s bottom-up equivalency approach is unique in several ways. Baker’s translation approach is a multistep process. It starts with studying the smallest linguistic unit, “the word”, and then evolves above the level of words leading to the translation of the entire text.
