The new ligand [N1,N4-bis((1H-benzo[d]Glyoxalin-2-yl)carbamothioyl)Butanedi amide] (NCB) derived from Butanedioyl diisothiocyanate with 2-aminobenz imidazole was used to prepare a chain of new metal complexes of Cr(III), Mn(II), Co(II), Ni(II), Cu(II), Pd(II), Ag(I), Cd(II) by general formula [M(NCB)]Xn ,Where M= Cr(III), n=3, X=Cl; Mn(II), Co(II), Ni(II), Cu(II), Pd(II), Cd(II) ,n=2 , X=Cl; Ag(I), n=1, X=NO3. Characterized compounds on the basis of 1H, 13CNMR (for (NCB), FT-IR and U.V spectrum, melting point, molar conduct, %C, %H, %N and %S, the percentage of the metal in complexes %M, Magnetic susceptibility, thermal studies (TGA),while its corrosion inhibition for mild steel in Ca(OH)2 solution is studied by weight loss. Show MoreThe aim of this study is to screen the phytochemicals found in Populus euphratica leaves since this type of trees are used traditionally by many villagers as treatment for eczema and other skin disease and also this plant is poorly investigated for their phytochemicals especially in Iraq. Phytochemical screening of the extracts obtained from the n-hexane and chloroform fraction of leaves of Populus euphratica was done by Thin-layer chromatography and various spraying reagents to test if alkaloids, sterols and other compounds are present. UPLC-electrospray ionization –tandem mass spectroscopy along with GC-MS and HPTLC are used to identify the phytochemicals present in the plant leaves.UPLC-ESI-MS/MS method 20 compound

The study and calculations of (DOS) depended on the orientation and driving energies. was a function of TiO2 and Fe materials' refractive index and dielectric constant. Attention has focused on the effect of on the characteristic of (DOS), which increased with the increasing of refractive index and dielectric constant of Fe metal and vice versa. The results of (DOS) and its relation with and values of system have been discussed. As for contact system is increased, (DOS) values increased at first, but the relation is disturbed later and transforms into an inve

Show MoreA study was conducted to evaluate the antibacterial effect of Phyllanthus emblica extract (ethanol:methanol, 1:1) against Pseudomonas aeruginosa, Staphylococcus aureus and Escherichia coli at different concentrations, i.e. 0.625, 1.25, 2.50, 5.0, 10.0 and 20.0 mg/ml. The antibacterial activity was determined by the agar well diffusion method to investigate the minimum inhibitory concentration (MIC) and minimum bactericidal concentration (MBC). The alcoholic extract of Phyllanthus emblica had the highest antibacterial activity at 20 mg/ml and 5 mg/ml except for Pseudomonas aeruginosa where the value of inhibition was between 20 and 10 mg/ml. The MIC concentrations were mostly very high and ranged from 5 to 1.25 mg/ml, while the MBC range fro

However, data on chemical content in the leaves is still limited; the main objective of this study is to detect the presence and determine the concentration of different polyphenolic constituents in the leaves of the Morus alba plant by reverse phase-high performance liquid chromatography (RP-HPLC) and evaluate the cytotoxic effect of ethyl acetate extract of this plant on human breast cancer (AMJ-13) cell line. Phytochemical analysis of the Morus alba leaves ethyl acetate extract led to identifying and quantification of six polyphenolic constituents designated as phenolic a

In a good yield, new charge-transfer complexes were produced when different quinones reacted with acetonitrile as solvent in a 1:1 mole ratio with N-phenyl-3,4-selenadiazo benzophenone imine. By using analysis techniques like UV, IR, and 1H, 13C-NMR, every substance was recognized. The analysis's results matched the chemical structures proposed for the synthesized substances. Functional theory of density (DFT)
has been used to analyze the molecular structure of the produced Charge-Transfer Complexes, and the energy gap, HOMO surfaces, and LUMO surfaces have all been created throughout the geometry optimization process ut
