Synthesis of a new class of Schiff-base ligand with a tetrazole moiety to form polymeric metal complexes with Co^II, Ni^II, Zn^II, and Cd^II ions has been demonstrated. A total of 100 Brown Lohmann laying hen chickens, 38 weeks of age, were randomly distributed into four treatment groups, with 25 hens for each treatment.
