The monogenean Gyrodactylus lavareti Malmberg, 1957 is recorded here in the present study for the first time in Iraq from gills of the common carp Cyprinus carpio. Abstract 

In the present study, composites were prepared by Hand lay-up molding. The composites constituents were epoxy resin as a matrix, 6% volume fractions of glass fibers (G.F) as reinforcement and 3%, 6% volume fractions of preparation natural material (Rice Husk Ash, Carrot Powder, and Sawdust) as filler. Studied the erosion wear behavior and coating by natural wastes (Rice Husk Ash) with epoxy resin after erosion.     This study was based on the determination of aphid species that infested Chrysanthemum sp. (Asterales, Asteraceae) in the middle of Iraq; five aphid species belong to subfamily Aphidinae were recorded: Aphis fabae Scopoli, 1763, Aphis gossypii Glover, 1877,  Coloradoa rufomaculata (Wilson, 1908), Macrosiphoniella sanborni (Gillette, 1908) and Myzus persicae (Sulzer, 1776). Sixty hyperthyroidism patients aged (20-45) years from different parts of Iraq , (20) from the North , (20) from Baghdad , (20) from the South of Iraq , and (20)control were tested for the presence of antithyroid peroxidase antibody(Tpo-Ab)and for Mg and Co levels in their sera.

The results revealed a significant increase in (Tpo-Ab) in all patients group from the different parts of Iraq compared to control , also a  significant increase in (Tpo-Ab) for  the group from  North compared to other parts.
