3D Content Encryption Using Multi-Level Chaotic Maps
...Show More Authors

Nowadays, 3D content is becoming an essential part of multimedia applications, when the 3D content is not protected, hackers may attack and steal it. This paper introduces a proposed scheme that provides high protection for 3D content by implementing multiple levels of security with preserving the original size using weight factor (w). First level of security is implemented by encrypting the texture map based on a 2D Logistic chaotic map. Second level is implemented by shuffling vertices (confusion) based on a 1D Tent chaotic map. Third level is implemented by modifying the vertices values (diffusion) based on a 3D Lorenz chaotic map. Results illustrate that the proposed scheme is completely deform the entire 3D content accord

3D Parallel Coordinates for Multidimensional Data Cube Exploration
...Show More Authors

Visual analytics becomes an important approach for discovering patterns in big data. As visualization struggles from high dimensionality of data, issues like concept hierarchy on each dimension add more difficulty and make visualization a prohibitive task. Data cube offers multi-perspective aggregated views of large data sets and has important applications in business and many other areas. It has high dimensionality, concept hierarchy, vast number of cells, and comes with special exploration operations such as roll-up, drill-down, slicing and dicing. All these issues make data cubes very difficult to visually explore. Most existing approaches visualize a data cube in 2D space and require preprocessing steps. In this paper, we propose a visu

3D Building Reconstruction Using DEM and Mosaic Model
...Show More Authors

A digital elevation model (DEM) is a digital representation of ground surface
topography or terrain. It can be represented as a raster (a grid of squares) and it is
commonly estimated by utilizing remote sensing techniques, or from land surveying.
In this research a 3D building of Baghdad university campus have been performed
using DEM, where the easting, northing, and elevation of 400 locations have been
obtained by field survey using global positioning system (GPS). The image of the
investigated area has been extracted from QuickBird satellite sensor (with spatial
resolution of 0.6 m). This image has been geo-referenced by selecting ground
control points of the GPS. The rectification is running, using 1st order

Prevalence of IgM and IgA Antibodies for the Respiratory Syncytial Virus in Infants and Young Children in Baghdad
...Show More Authors

Respiratory Syncytial Virus is the most common cause of acute viral bronchiolitis and pneumonia in infants and young children. This study is designed to examine the presence of anti-RSV IgM and IgA antibodies in infants and young children aged between 2 months up to 5 years old. ELISA was used to examine the levels of IgM and IgA antibodies in the serum samples from 90 individuals (60 are with respiratory symptoms and 30 healthy as controls). The results were analysed by systematically dividing those individuals into two groups according to their age and clinical status. The age groups included infant between 2 months and 1 year of age and young children between 2-5 years whereas the clinical grouping includes the severity of infection o

Association of Aquatic worms and infected snails with Digenean larvae
...Show More Authors

Six species of aquatic snails were sorted from three sites, the irrigation canal of Baghdad University campus (S1), River Tigris at Al-Za'afaraniah district / Baghdad(S2) , and River Euphrates at Al-Haideriah district Al-Najaf province(S2). The species included Melanopsis nodosa ;Melanoides tuberculata ; Thaiodaxsas jordani ; Lymnaea auricularia ; Physa acuta and Bellamya bengalensis. The first specis recorded the highest total number and was found in high density in the R. Euphrates site (S3), while the last species was the most widely distributed species, and found in all study sites. The last three species were found in Tigris river (S2) , while the first and last species were collected from the irrigation canal (S1).The result reveal

3D Facies Modeling of Mishrif Reservoir in Halfaya Oil Field
...Show More Authors

This research deals with the study of the types and distribution of petrographic microfacies and Paleoenvironments of Mishrif Formation in Halfaya oil field, to define specific sedimentary environments. These environments were identified by microscopic examination of 35 thin sections of cutting samples for well HF-9H as well as 150 thin sections of core and cutting samples for well HF-I. Depending on log interpretation of wells HF-1, HF-316, HF-109, IIF-115, and IIF-272, the sedimentary facies were traced vertically through the use of various logs by Petrel 2013 software in addition to previous studies. Microfacies analysis showed the occurrence of six main Paleoenvironments within Mishrif succession, represented

Darboux Integrability of a Generalized 3D Chaotic Sprott ET9 System
...Show More Authors

In this paper, the first integrals of Darboux type of the generalized Sprott ET9 chaotic system will be studied. This study showed that the system has no polynomial, rational, analytic and Darboux first integrals for any value of . All the Darboux polynomials for this system were derived together with its exponential factors. Using the weight homogenous polynomials helped us prove the process.

3D Seismic Reflection Study of Al-Akhadeir Area, Southwestern Iraq
...Show More Authors

This study includes structural and stratigraphic interpretation of 3D seismic reflection data for Zubair Formation (L. Cretaceous) within Al-Akhadeir area, southwestern Iraq (Karbala Governorate). Depending on the 3D seismic reflection interpretation process, and based on the synthetic seismogram  and well logs data, two horizons were identified and selected (top and base Zubair  reflectors). These horizons were followed up over the entire area in order to obtain structural and stratigraphic settings. TWT, depth, and velocity maps for the base and top Zubair Formation were constructed. From the interpretation of these maps and based on the seismic section, the study concluded that there are some enclosures that represent anticl

Asymptotic Stability of 3D Stochastic Positive Linear Systems with Delays
...Show More Authors

The article emphasizes that 3D stochastic positive linear system with delays is asymptotically stable and depends on the sum of the system matrices and at the same time independent on the values and numbers of the delays. Moreover, the asymptotic stability test of this system with delays can be abridged to the check of its corresponding 2D stochastic positive linear systems without delays. Many theorems were applied to prove that asymptotic stability for 3D stochastic positive linear systems with delays are equivalent to 2D stochastic positive linear systems without delays. The efficiency of the given methods is illustrated on some numerical examples. HIGHLIGHTS Various theorems were applied to prove the asymptoti
