Development and Validation of HPLC Method For the Detection of Fusidic Acid Loaded in Non-ionic and Cationic Nanoemulsion-Based Gels
...Show More Authors

Fusidic acid (FA) is a well-known pharmaceutical antibiotic used to treat dermal infections. This experiment aimed for developing a standardized HPLC protocol to determine the accurate concentration of fusidic acid in both non-ionic and cationic nano-emulsion based gels. For this purpose, a simple, precise, accurate approach was developed. A column with reversed-phase C18 (250 mm x 4.6 mm ID x 5 m) was utilized for the separation process. The main constituents of the HPLC mobile phase were composed of water: acetonitrile (1: 4); adjusted at pH 3.3. The flow rate was 1.0 mL/minute. The optimized wavelength was selected at 235 nm. This approach achieved strong linearity for alcoholic solutions of FA when loaded at a serial concentration ranging from 12.5 to 400 µg/ml. Furthermore, the approach showed good stability and achieved full recovery and an effective separation for FA from the abovementioned formulation. Besides, the protocol validation revealed good robustness at a temperature range of 23 to 27, pH 3.0 to 3.5, detection wavelength 230 to 240 nm, flow rate 0.8 and 1.2 and mobile phase contents of (78:22 to 82:18 acetonitrile/ water). The limit of Detection was obtained 1.33 µg/ml and limit of Quantification was 4.04 µg/ml for FA that uploaded through mentioned formulations. All the validation parameters were within the acceptance criteria, as per ICH , US Pharmacopeia requirements. Overall, an affordable and reproducible method could be achieved for the detection and quantification of fusidic acid within the nano-emulsion based gels formulas.

Enhancement of Swarming and Inhibition of Prodigiosin in Serratia marcescens by Glyceryl Trinitrate
...Show More Authors

Introduction:Serratia marcescens is a gram-negative pathogen of many species. Its pathogenicity and survival are linked to its capacity to build biofilms as well as its strong inherent resistance to antimicrobials and cleaning agents. Objectives: To analyse the impact of glyceryl trinitrate (GTN) on the gene expression of QS-related genes (rssB, rsmA,and pigP) of S. marcescens. Methodology: The broth microdilution technique estimated the bactericidal effectiveness of glyceryl trinitrate. The presence of rssB, rsmA,and pigP in S. marcescens isolates was detected using PCR. qRT-PCR was used to assess the effect of GTN on rssB, rsmA,and pigPgene expression. Results: The results demonstrated that GTN has no effect on S. marcesce

The current research addressed (the manifestations of selfhood and otherness in Indian schools of photography) through studying the concept of selfhood and otherness and their manifestations in Indian miniatures scenes for the period (1625-1790). The researcher, in the first chapter, sought to clarify the research problem, importance, and the need for it, in addition to the objective of the study represented by the following: "how did selfhood and otherness manifest in the Indian schools of photography?". The researcher, then, concluded the aforementioned chapter by defining the terms that have direct relation to the title and the objectives of the research. As for the second chapter, it consists of an overview for the theoretical framew

Vitamin E, having the well known antioxidant activity  through scavenging free radicals Ùˆ it occurs in several  isomeric forms , these isomers have relatively different functions . One of these actions is related to its ability to inhibit platelets aggregation and hence thrombosis. The present study included a total number of apparently healthy  62 males . 11of them served as standard group , treated  with 100 mg aspirin /day for more than one month . Another 31 subjects were randomly grouped into 5 groups that received different daily doses of α – tocopherol : 400 IU , 800 IU and 1200 IU for  2-6 months. The remainder ( 20 ) subjects served

RULES OF ABBREVIATION IN RUSSIAN LEXICON AND METHODS OF TRANSLATING IT INTO ARABIC
...Show More Authors

Abstract. This paper examines the structural rules governing abbrevia-tions in the Russian lexicon and proposes methods for translating these abbrevi-ated forms into Arabic. Based on the general theory of abbreviation by Shapovalova (2018) and subsequent typological studies. Abbreviations occupy a significant place in the modern Russian language, especially in official business, scientific and journalistic styles. However, when translating these units into Ara-bic, translators face a number of linguistic and cultural difficulties that require special strategies and adaptation [5, с. 2]. The relevance of this topic is that ab-breviations and acronyms are an integral part of publications / works that require saving printing space. Reasonable

Isolation of fungi was performed from February to July, 2019. One hundred clinical specimens were collected from King Abdullah Hospital (KAH) Bisha, Saudi Arabia. Samples were collected from twenty patients of different ages (30 - 70 years old) ten males and ten females. The samples were collected from patients with the two types of diabetics. Specimens included blood, hair, nail, oral swabs and skin.  Specimens were inoculated on Sabourauds Dextrose agar containing chloramphenicol. Thirteen fungal species were isolated and identified. The isolated species were: Aspergillus flavus, A. niger, A. terrus, A. nidulans, A. fumigatus, Candida albicans, C. krusei, C. parapsilosis, C.
