Viscosity and Volumetric studies of some amino acids in solutions at different temperatures

Densities ρ and viscosities η for several concentrations of amino acids (Serine, Cysteine and Threonine) at different temperatures (298.15, 303.15 and 308.15K) have been measured. On the basis of these data, the apparent molal volumes v , partial molal volumes at infinite dilution v , slope Sv , Gibbs free energy of activation for viscous flow of solution ∆G1,2 and Jones – Dole Bcoefficients were calculated the nature of solute-solvent and solute-solute interactions have been discussed in terms of the values of v , v , Sv and B-coefficents

External Morphological Study of Coenagrion lindenii (Selys, 1840) (Odonata: Zygoptera: Coenagrionidae) in Iraq.

The present study introduces detailed description of Coenagrion lindenii (Selys, 1840). External morphological characters of the three body region were used included male genitalia. Such characters were supported by illustration. Date and place of collection were recorded.  Both the genus and species are recorded recently to Iraq

Effect of Na Ion on Physioloyical changes of Wheat Grown in Nutrient Solution

The experimentes were carried out by using a nutrient solution in the green house of Biology Dept , college of Education (Ibn Al- Haitham , University of Baghdad .) during 2001 -2002 growing season in order to determine the effect of sodium ion, by using four concentrations: (zero , 40,80,120. Mm), to study the appearance and physiological characteristics for two wheat varieties : IP A99 and Al-Kaid according to factorial experiment in completely randomized design for each concentration. The rcsults showed that the fourth concentration (120 Mm) for the Na ion is the most effective one on Leaf area, chlorophyll content, soluble carbohydrates, nitrogen content and protein percentage.        Moreove

The motives of pain in the play (Bells and Trains) by Yehuda Amichai

The upbringing of Yehuda Amichai and the conditions he lived in had a great influence on his deep sense of pain, which made him think of death and suicide. Noise Detection and Removing in Heart Sound Signals via Nuclear Norm Minimization Problems

Heart sound is an electric signal affected by some factors during the signal's recording process, which adds unwanted information to the signal. Recently, many studies have been interested in noise removal and signal recovery problems. The first step in signal processing is noise removal; many filters are used and proposed for treating this problem. Here, the Hankel matrix is implemented from a given signal and tries to clean the signal by overcoming unwanted information from the Hankel matrix. The first step is detecting unwanted information by defining a binary operator. This operator is defined under some threshold. The unwanted information replaces by zero, and the wanted information keeping in the estimated matrix. The resulting matrix

The Rules of Conduct for Cultivated Ladies in Jane Austen's Time

There is no doubt that Jane Austen is one of the most studied authors of the late 18th and early 19th centuries. Her female characters have been extensively studied and they seem to have aroused much interest as manifestations of the conduct of their time. Her heroines have realized that there were many mistakes in the rules of conduct that controlled and restricted their behaviors. Thus, they have found no fault in correcting these mistakes, by behaving naturally without acting. Elizabeth Bennet the heroine of Pride and Prejudice and Marianne Dashwood of Sense and Sensibility are the chosen examples of that kind of women.
