Abstract. Healthy skin is an important layer that gives appearance and self-confidence. The skin is affected by internal and external factors that surrounding the body. The problem of skin diseases is considered as one of the widespread diseases. The occurrence of these diseases varies from place to place depending on the nature of climate, the culture of the people, and their economic condition. A cross-sectional study of skin diseases was conducted at the dermatology centre for outpatient clinic of Baghdad hospital. The study is based on 7555 patients of all ages who are attended to this hospital in order to determine the prevalence of skin diseases. The study shows that the most prevalence skin diseases were infectious diseases with recorded percentage (41.1%). Other reported skin diseases are: eczematous diseases (30.6%), psoriasis (19.7%), acne vulgaris (3.2%), urticaria (3.1%), vitiligo (1.9%), rosacea (0.3%), and skin cancer (0.1%). There were no significant differences between the results of infectious skin diseases in both males and females except for warts (P≤0.05). However, significant differences (P≤0.05; P≤0.01) were observed in the results for noninfectious skin diseases between the two genders except for atopic dermatitis. The lowest prevalence percentages of skin diseases were found in the children under six years (7%) and the elderly patients above sixty years (5.1) %. The highest percentage of (25.3%) was recorded with the age group (31-45). Infectious diseases recorded the highest percentage, followed by eczematous diseases and psoriasis. Most prevalent skin diseases were observed at ages between 20 and 45 years old, and the highest percentages of skin diseases at the same age duration were contact dermatitis and psoriasis.
New complexes of first series of transition metals with P-amino benzene dithiocarbamate of the general formula [M(PABdtc)2] and [ M(PABdtc)2(L)n] M=Fe( ІІ ),Co( ІІ ),Ni( ІІ ) ,Cu(ІІ) and Zn (ІІ). PABdtc = Paraamino benzene dithiocarbamate ,n=2 when L= Py,ɣ-Pic,iso qunoline ,3,5lutidine n=1when L=1,10-phenanthroline, en, 2,-2bipy.and the type(R)4N[Ni(PABdtc)3] R= methyl, ethyl are prepared. Physico chemical characterization of these complexes was applied using magnetic susceptibility measurements, molar conductance , Infrared and electronic spectra, Metal content measurements, molar conductance indicate complexes of the type [M(PABdtc)2] and [M(PABdtc)2(L)n] are non-electrolyte

The technique can be described as simple, fast, sensitive, easy to operate, and low-cost. The CAP reacted with ammonium ceric(IV) sulfate (ACS)2(NH4 )2SO4Ce(SO4)2. 3 H2O in an acidic medium and the reaction led to the formation of a white, slightly yellowish precipitate. The formed precipitate was studied using Ayah 6S×1-ST-2D Solar cell-CFI Analyzer, a through the reflection of accident light on the surfaces of the precipitate particles at (0-1800), expressed as the response

The type and mode of fracture were also assessed for all the experimental groups. Materials and Method: Forty-eight human adult maxillary premolar teeth were selected for this study. Standardized extensive class II MOD cavities with endodontic treatment were prepared for all teeth, except those that were saved as intact control. The teeth were divided into six groups of eight teeth each (n=8): (Group 1) intact control group, (Group 2) unrestored teeth with

The most important results and recommendations of the study are as follows: a high rate of the respondents’, sample individuals, exposure to the dubbed Turkish series since it is evident that almost three-fourths of the study individuals watch the dubbed Turkish series,.”. The most significant positive aspects of the dubbed Turkish series are: “they focus on the most important tourist attractions in Turkey” and “ improving the audience›s knowledge and information on the traditions of the Turkish society”. The fishing area consists of various locations in the Arabian Gulf (29°58 0 33 00 N48°28 0 20 E). A total of 315 marine fish were examined, (n=287) were infected. Larval stages (n= 763) encysted within the mesenteries peritoneum and viscera of fish organs were isolated, with a prevalence of 91.11% of infection and, the intensity was 2.65. Molecular analysis was carried out on thirty individuals who have examined the morphology and showed some appearance differences, by amplifying internal transcribed spacers

The prepared complexes were identified and their structural geometries were suggested by using flam atomic absorption technique , FT-IR and Uv-Vis spectroscopy, in addition to magnetic susceptibility and conductivity measurements. The study of the nature of the complexes formed in ethanol solution , following the mole ratio method , gave results which were compared successfully with those obtained from the isolated solid state studied. The present work describes the synthesis of new Schiff-bases derived from branched aminosugars. Treatment of 3-Amino-3-Cyano-3-Deoxy-1,2:5,6-Di-O-Isopropylene-α-D-Allofuranose (1) with the aldehydes (2) under reflux in methanol afforded the Schiff-bases (3) in good yields. The new Schiff-bases were in accord with their NMR, IR spectral data and elemental analysis.
