تعد مشكلة ادمان الافراد ولاسيما الشباب على المخدرات من أخطر الآفات المسببة للعديد من المشكلات في مختلف الجوانب الصحية والاجتماعية والنفسية التي تواجه كل مجتمع، بل العالم أجمع. اذ غالبا ما تترك ظاهرة الإدمان على المخدرات لدى الأفراد تأثيرات سلبية خطرة على سلوكياتهم، سواء تجاه أنفسهم او تجاه الآخرين، وهذا يتطلب من المؤسسات ذات صلة السعي من اجل الوصول إلى حلول مهمة وبناءة لإصلاح مثل هؤلاء الأفراد، ومن ثم تخليصهم من سلوكياتهم السلبية وإعادة تأهيلهم وإدماجهم في المجتمع، ليصبحوا أفرادا نشطين وفاعلين من خلال تبنيهم للسلوكيات الايجابية التي تتماشى بصورة مقبولة مع قيم وعادات وتقاليد مجتمعاتهم التي ينتمون اليها. لذا جاءت دراستنا الحالية لألقاء الضوء على اهم التأثيرات الناتجة عن ظاهرة الإدمان على تعاطي المخدرات لدى الافراد من خلال تحقيق هدفي البحث واللذان يسعان لمعرفة: ١-أسباب الإدمان على تعاطي المخدرات لدى الافراد ٢-تاثير تعاطي المخدرات على المجتمع. وعند التحقق من هدفي البحث من خلال الاعتماد على المنهج الوصفي التحليلي للأدبيات والدراسات السابقة، توصلت الباحثتان للنتائج الاتية: أولا-ان اهم أسباب ادمان الشباب على المخدرات، هي حالات الفقر، البطالة، فقدان أحد الوالدين او كلاهما، وجود مجرم في اسرته، التربية غير صالحة وغيرها من الظواهر والانحرافات المختلفة. ثانيا - تؤدي اعراض الإدمان على المخدرات الى دفع الشخص المدمن لتبني سلوكيات انحرافيه، كذلك الى إصابة الفرد المدمن بضغوط نفسية وعقلية، ومن ثم إصابة اسرته بأمراض مزمنة، فضلا عن الانهيار الاسري الحاصل في بيوت المدمنين على المخدرات.

Three stages of composites were prepared in this research. The first stage included preparing binary blends of epoxy (EP) and different weight percentages of polysulfide rubber (PSR) (0%, 2.5%, 5%, 7.5% and 10%). It was found that the weight percentage 5% of polysulfide was the best percentage, which gives the best mechanical properties for the blend matrix.
