Abstract: Coriandrum sativum leaves are used in folk medicine to treat several diseases such as digestive system disorder, diabetes, and hyperlipidemia. This study was designed to investigate the effect of aqueous extract of Coriandrum sativum on the structure and function of kidney, 30 males of white Swiss mice Mus musculus were divided randomly to three groups with 10 mice in each group. Animals of first group (control group) had been given orally 0.1 ml of tap water, animals in the second group had been treated orally with 0.1 of single dose (125 mg/Kg b. w./day) of C. sativum leaves extract and animals in the third group has been treated orally with 0.1 ml (250mg/Kg. b. w./day) of the same extract for 30 days. At the end of experiment, the animals had been scarified and kidney were removed and kept for histological sectioning. The data of body’s weight, organs weight, uric acid and creatinine were measured. The results of the present study showed that there was no significant difference (P>0.05) in the body’s weight between the control and treated groups, as well as the kidney unchanged in its weight in animals treated with (125 mg/Kg/ b. w.), while there was significant reduction (P<0.01) in the organs weight in animals treated with (250 mg/Kg/ b. w.) aqueous extract compared to control. Results revealed that mice treated with 250 mg of C. sativum extract were increased significantly in uric acid and creatinine while the treatment with (125 mg/Kg/ b. w.) of the extract resulted insignificant increase (P>0.05) in these parameters. Moreover the treatment with aqueous extract of C. sativum leaves extract at dose 250 mg caused abnormal histopathological changes in kidney tissue represented by degeneration in convoluted tubules epithelium, conjestion and glomerular atrophy, while the treatment with extract at dose 125 mg caused slightly changes in kidney tissue. According to above results the daily administration of Coriandrum sativum leaves extract induced a huge damage in the structure and functions of kidney.
Transportation Sector classified as one of the services sectors which is without the production activities cannot be complete its rule. Is act asmoving actions which operate at production and non production goals for the organization and individuals insides the country and with others, that is why this sector act as one of the main which is occupied an important status on the way the economic activities and on the level of the economic institutions the transportation work on transforming all the commodities and products from productions locations to consumption location then its effect the productivity process and create the location utility and on the level of economic it considered as one of the economic supportive structure an

The prepared NPs were also characterized using ultraviolet and visible (UV-vis) spectroscopy and scanning electron microscopy (SEM). The UV/vis spectroscopy confirmed the production of AgNPs, while SEM analysis showed that the typical spherical AgNPs were 30 nm and 50 nm in size for the NPs prepared using black tea (B) and green tea (G) as reducing agent, respectively. The changes in some of the biochemical parameters related to the liver and kidneys have been analyzed to evaluate the probable toxic effects of AgNPs. 40 adult male mice were included in this study. To assess the probable he

The research aims to define indicators for achieving social interaction in the city, and to determine indicators for achieving integration in the urban space, and to study the relationship between the integration of urban space and community interaction over time. the research assumed that by distinguishing the social interaction space from the urban space and developing urban spaces in order to be truly interactive spaces, this will help us achieve social interaction and build a positive relationship between them, which enables us to achieve integration within the urban spaces leading to social interaction. Methodology: A descriptive correlational design was conducted in the substance use rehabilitation centers at psychiatric teaching hospitals in Baghdad city from November /2021 to May 2022. The instrument of the study was designed by using sociodemographic, the clinical characteristics of the client, the Short-form Alcohol Dependence Data Questionnaire (SADD), Drinking Related Internal-External Locus of Control Scale: (DRIE), and the Stages of Change Readiness and Treatment Eagerness Scale (SOCRATES). The data was co

Play interventions involving manipulative activities may better support motor skill development. Objectives: To evaluate the effect of structured play-based nursing interventions on hand motor skills in children with cerebral palsy. Methods: A quasi-experimental pre-test/post-test design with a control group was used. The study was conducted at the Paediatric Welfare Hospital in Baghdad from November 25, 2024, to February 13, 2025. A non-probability sample of 79 children was identified based on the study criteria; of these, 64 children met the eligibility criteria and agreed to particip
