Pharmaceutical-instigated pollution is a major concern, especially in relation to aquatic environments and drugs such as meropenem antibiotics. Adsorbents, such as multi-walled carbon nanotubes, offer potential as means of removing polluting meropenem antibiotics and other similar compounds from water. In order to evaluate the effectiveness of multi-walled carbon nanotubes in this capacity, various experimental parameters, including contact time, initial concentration, pH, temperature and the dose of adsorbent have been investigated. The Langmuir and the Freundlich isotherm models have been used. The data obtained using a modified Langmuir model have been consistent with the experimental ones; the best pH value has been obtained to have the maximum uptake capacity with the hights coefficient of determination. The adsorption kinetics data is in accordance with pseudo-second order model for adsorption processes, which is in line with the measured data. The results of this thermodynamic research indicate that the reaction that removes meropenem antibiotics from water by adsorption is exothermic. A combination of mechanisms is responsible for meropenem antibiotics adsorption to adsorbent, including electrostatic and π–π EDA interactions, hydrophobic interaction, functional groups and molecule substitution. According to the research findings, multi-walled carbon nanotubes offer a potential method that can be quickly deployed in order to address pharmaceutical contamination of water.
It highlights the importance of research through its focus on the assessment of tax for settling accounts Mmakhr medicines and annual statement controls and its role in determining the taxable income of the real tax Mmakhr drugs and achieve tax equity through tax settling accounts. Abstract: Thorough assessment of the Maxillary,Sinus is very important. Recently 3-dimensional imagewith Cone Beam Computed Tomography (CBCT) is very dependable in Maxillary Sinus diagnosis. The aim of this study is to: shade light on the role of (CBCT) diagnosis of the maxillary sinus anatomical variation and pathological finding among smokers and nonsmokers prior to maxillary sinus lift techniques. Materials and Method: In this study 60 males with age ranged between 20-50 years old, referred for (CBCT) assessment of maxillary sinus in the Specialist Health Center of AL-Sadder city. The scanning were performed using Kodak 9500 (CBCT), the KV was 90, mA10 and scanning time 10 s. Voxel size 0.3mm with( DICOM ) software on a multiplaner re

Objectives: To determine the sensitivity of CT scan on patients with COVID-19 in Al-Najaf, Iraq, and to compare the accuracy of CT scan with that of RT-PCR technique. Material and Method: This is a prospective study. The patients suspicious of having COVID-19 infection and respiratory symptoms were registered. All patients were diagnosed by RT-PCR and chest CT. Diagnostic performance of CT was intended using RT-PCR as the reference sta

The aim of the study was to investigate seminal fluid patterns of male partners of an infertile couple with apparently fertile female partners. Materials and methods. A cross-sectional study was conducted between January 2019 and December 2022. Patients were attending consultations for delayed conception for more than 12 months with apparently fertile female partner. Results. Four hundred fifty-three patients were included in the study. The distribution of patients according to age groups showed that 277 patients were young, aged 21 - 30 years (61%). Two hundred sixty-two (58%) patien

Among them, Teflon and Epoxy coated stainless steel archwires. The amount of force available from the archwire depends on the structural properties and susceptibility to corrosion. All metallic alloys are changed during immersion in artificial saliva, chlorhexidine mouthwash andtoothpaste, but their behaviors differ from one type to another. They corrode at different rates, which lead to decrease the amount of force applied to the teeth. This in vitro study was designed to evaluate the corrosion pits in stainless steel archwires coated with Teflon and with Epoxy in dry and after immersion in artificial saliva, chl

Fifty blood serum samples collected from children with age ranged between 7-12 years. Thirty-five blood samples collected from patient children with T1D, and compared with 15 healthy children age matched as control sample. The results revealed decreasing in anti-inflammatory IL-10 concentration in T1D patient’s blood serum (0.068 Pg/ml) as compared with the control sample (0.111 Pg/ml). No significant differences were found in interleukin concentration between the studied samples when they analyzed with the M
