Abstract: Residual ridge resorption is chronic, progressive, irreversible and cumulative condition associated with teeth loss. Management of a residual ridge with severe resorption to fulfill the patient’s esthetic and functional requirements is quite difficult for the practitioner and also in the construction of an acceptable appliance. As the height of the edentulous ridge reduces the mandibular denture will be improperly function. Severe resorption of the mandibular alveolar ridge may cause instability and discomfort of the convention acrylic resin denture. Dealing with this condition requires clinical skills and knowledge. The article gives the analysis of an Arabic root-form from the standpoint of progressive phono-semantics and phono-grammar. Within the framework of this linguistic paradigm the theory of sound association with its meaning is confirmed owning to the Arabic word structure. According to the combination of definite root forms consonants the principles of progressive phono-grammar of the Arabic language are exercised. The sound quantitative changes of root consonants are also the result of progressive semantic phono-grammar.

The consequences of ionizing radiation-induced oxidative stress on radiographers in X-ray and CT-scan departments utilizing several biochemical were analyzed. The study found highly considerable discrepancies in the interplay between radiation levels and gender in terms of mean Malondialdehyde (MAD), Vitamin D3 (Vit.D3), Triiodothyronine (T3), Thyroxine (T4), and High-Density Lipoprotein (HDL), but not Thyroid Stimulating Hormone (TSH), cholesterol, triglyceride (TG) and Low-Density Lipoprotein (LDL). The findings indicated that malondialdehyde is a useful biomarker for assessing oxidative stress in radiographers with exposure to ionizing radiation.
