The UV−VIS absorption spectroscopy technique was used to study the formation of a new complex of charge transfer (CT) between bioactive organic molecules as (Nystatin) containing both a π-electrons from a conjugated system and lone-pair of electrons (amine) with Tetrachloro-1,4 benzoquinone (TCBQ) as a π-acceptor in which the transferred electron goes into its vacant anti-bonding molecular orbitals. The Tyrian purple-colored complex formed was quantitatively measured at 544 nm. This complex shows obeying Beer's law within the concentration range of (10-90) μg.ml-1The stoichiometry of the formed complex between the (Nys.) and (TCBQ) was found 1:2 as evaluated by continuous variation (Job's method) and mole ratio method The value of molar absorptivity was calculated at 7038.2840 L.mol-1.cm-1, while Sandell’s sensitivity value was estimated to be 0.01315 μg.cm-2, while LOD and LOQ were found to be 0.5661and 1.71558 μg.ml-1, respectively. The Charge-Transfer complex association constant (KCT) value was evaluated using Benesi-Hildebrand equation and was found to be 3.00E+03 L.mol-1. This procedure was successfully involved in the analysis of pharmaceutical formulations.
G-system composed of three isolates G3 ( Bacillus),G12 ( Arthrobacter )and G27 ( Brevibacterium) was used to detect the mutagenicity of the anticancer drug, cyclophosphamide (CP) under conditions similar to that used for standard mutagen, Nitrosoguanidine (NTG). The CP effected the survival fraction of isolates after treatment for 15 mins using gradual increasing concentrations, but at less extent comparing to NTG. The mutagenic effect of CP was at higher level than that of NTG when using streptomycin as a genetic marker, but the situation was reversed when using rifampicin resistant as a report marker. A rapid, simple and sensitive spectrophotometric method for the determination of trace amounts of chromium (VI) was studied. The method is based on the reaction of chromium (VI) with promethazine forming a red colored species by chromium in hydrochloric acid medium and exhibits a maximum absorbance at 518 nm. A plot of absorbance with chromium (VI) gives a straight line indicating that Beer’s law has been obeyed over the range concentration of 0.05-4.0 µg/ml with a molar absorptivity of chromium(VI) 2.04  104 l.mol-1.cm-1 , Sandell’s sensitivity index of 0.0025 µg.cm-2 while the limit of detection (LOD) was found to be 0.0924 µg.ml

Generally, direct measurement of soil compression index (Cc) is expensive and time-consuming. To save time and effort, indirect methods to obtain Cc may be an inexpensive option. Usually, the indirect methods are based on a correlation between some easier measuring descriptive variables such as liquid limit, soil density, and natural water content. This study used the ANFIS and regression methods to obtain Cc indirectly.
