Background: The adenomatoid odontogenic tumor is a relatively rare benign epithelial odontogenic tumor. It contains both epithelial and mesenchymal components. Few cases presented as an extrafollicular lesion or involve the mandible or associated with other odontogenic lesions. This paper represents a rare case of an extrafollicular AOT. Case presentation: A 24-year-old female had a painless swelling on the right side of the lower jaw since one-month duration. Intraorally there was a well defined fluctuant-blue swelling in the right alveolar premolar region measuring 1×2 cm obliterating the right lower buccal vestibule. The acute toxicity effects of (2,4-D) pesticide to the common carp and grass carp was determined through 24, 48, 72 and 96 hr. Group of eight Common carp (Cyprinus carpio L., 1758; Pisces, Cyprinidae) and group of eight of grass carp (Ctenopharyngodon idella) were exposed to the 2,4-d. Lethal concentration (LC50) was determined with probit analysis. The median lethal concentration (LC50) values for common and grass carp were (157.77, 157.25, 156.41 and 152.62) and (115.92, 114.92, 112.94 and 96.52) respectively. Behavioral changes of the above mentioned species were examined for various herbicide concentrations.

This paper aimed to investigate the effect of the height-to-length ratio of unreinforced masonry (URM) walls when loaded by a vertical load. The finite element (FE) method was implemented for modeling and analysis of URM wall. In this paper, ABAQUS, FE software with implicit solver was used to model and analysis URM walls subjected to a vertical load. In this paper, some series of new complexes of Mn(II), Co(II), Ni (II) Cu(II) and Hg(II) are prepared from the Schiff bases (L1,L2). (L1) derived from 4-aminoantipyrine and O-phenylene dia mine then (L2) derived from (L1) and 2-benzoyl benzoic acid. Structural features are obtained from their elemental microanalyses, molar conductance, IR, UV–Vis, 1H, 13CNMR spectra and magnetic susceptibility. The magnetic susceptibility and UV–Vis, IR spectral data of the ligand (L1) complexes get square–planar and tetrahedral geometries and the complexes oflig and (L2) get an octahedral geometry. Antimicrobial examinations show good results in the sharing complexes.

This study was conducted to evaluate the pathogenicity of Beauveria bassiana to the Homaira insect Batrachedra. amydraula under laboratory conditions. The dilution 1 x 10-2 showed a significant and high mortality rates on the eggs, first and fifth instars of the homaira larvae which reaches 100%, 96.19% and 91.20% after 7 days from treatment. However mortality rates found to be decreased to 88.97% for fifth instar after 10 days from treatment, while results showed parasitism potentially reaches 94.50% in pupae and 90.22% in adults.

The core objective of this study was to investigate the physicochemical characteristics and fatty acid composition of the oils of sunflower, olive, virgin coconut and ginger oils, as well as the separation of their unsaturated fatty acids. The data indicated a significant variation in physicochemical properties (acid, saponification, ester, and iodine values) among oils. Transesterification process was carried out at a molar ratio of 1:7:0.1 of oil: methanol: KOH. Fatty acid methyl esters of oils were analyzed by infrared (IR) and gas chromatography–mass (GC-MS) spectrometry. Twelve fatty acids were identified, where the major fatty acid of  olive oil was found to be  oleic acid (89%), whereas those of sunflower and ging
