The condition of elevated concentrations of ‎triglyceride in ‎the blood is called hypertriglyceridemia, which ‎triggers the onset of some physiological disorder. This study was carried out to find the ‎correlation between body weight and ‎hypertriglyceridemia. ‎Out of 518 cases, 342 individuals were underweight, with body ‎mass index (BMI) values of ≤18, while their mean ‎serum triglyceride level was 172.4 ± 25.2mg/dl. The study aimed to assess the level of ANG‑2 in MM patients at diagnosis and in remission state and elaborate on its correlation with interleukin‑6 (IL‑6) and beta‑2 microglobulin (B2M) levels. Sixty MM patients; 20 newly diagnosed (ND), and 40 patients in remission were included. Twenty healthy individuals were included as a control group. Plasma levels of ANG‑2, B2M, and IL‑6 were tested by enzyme‑lin ked immunosorbent assay. The objective of this study is to evaluate the level of cytokines IL-1?, IL-10 and IL-17A in the serum of patients with Alzheimer's disease (AD), vascular dementia (VD) and down syndrome (DS).
