This study examined the adsorption behavior of anionic dye (orange G) from aqueous solution onto the raw and activated a mixture of illite, kaolinite and chlorite clays from area of Zorbatiya (east of Iraq).The chemical treatment involved alkali and acid activation. The alkali activation obtained by treated the raw clay (RC) with 5M NaOH (ACSO) and the acid activation founded by treated it with 0.25M HCl (ACH) and 0.25M  (ACS). L-Thyroxine(T4) and triiodothyronine(T3)are iodine-containing hormones produced from thyroglobulin in the thyroid follicular cells. The stimulation of metabolic rate and regulation of growth and development by these hormones appear to be due to their effects on DNA transcription and, thus, protein synthesis. The aqueous extract of vitis vinifera L. was investigated for its effect on hormones in rabbits. The aqueous extract of plant at a dose level of 50µg/rabbit showed highly significant (p<0.05)on levels of hormones T4, TSH but TSH no significant. Incident laser power and concentration effects on fluorescence emission from DCM dye in PMMA polymer have been investigated. Different concentrations of the dye were used. It was found that the fluorescence intensity increased with increasing of the concentration of the dye, with a red shift. The present study attempts to find out the effect of some fish preservatives in the laboratory, such as alcohol and dilute formalin, on some biological characteristics related to the body measurements of those fish preserved in these materials. The fish used in this study were the local Planiliza abu. The processes of expansion and contraction of the bodies of fish preserved in diluted formalin solution at a concentration of 10% and diluted ethyl alcohol solution at a concentration of 70%.
