A new series polymers was synthesized from reaction starting material Bisacodyl A or [(2-Pyridinylmethylene) di-4, 1-phenylene di acetate] with hydrogen bromide, then the products were polymerized by addition polymerization from used adipoyl and glutaroyl chloride. The structure of these compounds was characterized by FT-IR, melting points, TLC, X-Ray, DSC and 1H-NMR for starting material. These compounds were also screened for their antibacterial activists?

This work comprises the synthesis of 18 new N- substituted 5,10-
dihydrophenophosphazine.The diphenylamine was chosen as the starting material ,
which was reacted with phosphorus trichloride at elevated temperature (200-220)0C
for 6 hrs, followed by treating the reaction mixture with water to yield 5,10-
dihydrophenophosphazine-10-oxide(1), this was reacted with ethylchloroacetat to
obtain ethyl(5,10-dihydrophenophosphazine-10- oxide)acetate(2). Compound (2)
was converted to acid hydrazide by treating with hydrazine hydrate( 98% ) to obtain
5-(5,10-dihydrophenophosphazine) acetohydrazide-10-oxide (3). The acid hydrazid

Aromatic hydrocarbons present in Iraqi national surface water were believed to be raised principally from combustion of various petroleum products, industrial processes and transport output and their precipitation on surface water.
Polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbons (PAHs) were included in the priority pollutant list due to their toxic and carcinogenic nature. The concern about water contamination and the consequent human exposure have encouraged the development of new methods for
PAHs detection and removal.
PAHs, the real contaminants of petroleum matter, were detected in selected sites along Tigris River within Baghdad City in summer and winter time, using Shimadzu high performance liquid chromatography (HPLC) system.

     A quantitative interpretation of gravity and magnetic anomalies in west of Tikrit city and surroundings, has been completed utilizing Grav2dc and Mag2dc (2D, 2.5D) forward techniques. The modeling has been carried out along four profiles, two NW-SE profiles along the distinct gravity residual anomalies and two NE-SW profiles along the magnetic residual anomalies. The most geologic plausible model that matches the data was picked. The model along the gravity profile (A-A^') reveal faulting of the basement, whereas along the profiles B-B^', C-C^' and D-D^' did not present faulting. The models comprise of two rock units, the first is the sedimentary cover and the second unit i
