In this study a polymeric composite material was prepared by hand
lay-up technique from epoxy resin as a matrix and magnesium oxide
(MgO) as a reinforcement with different weight fraction (5,10,15,
and 20)% to resin. Then the prepared samples were immersed under
normal condition in H₂So₄(1 M) solution, for periods ranging up to
10 weeks. The result revealed that the diffusion coefficient
decreasing as the concentration of MgO increase. Also we studied

In this study, the response and behavior of machine foundations resting on dry and saturated sand was investigated experimentally. A physical model was manufactured to simulate steady state harmonic load at different operating frequencies. The effect of relative density, depth of embedment, foundation area as well as the imposed harmonic load was investigated. It was found that the amplitude of displacement of the foundation increases with increasing the amplitude of dynamic force and operating frequency meanwhile it decreases with increasing the relative density of sand, degree of saturation, depth of embedment and contact area of footing. This study investigated the effect of essential oils extracted from peel of Citrus limon and Citrus reticulata on two species of fungui: Penicillium expansum and Fusarium proliferatum and also effect of two fungicides: Hymexazol and Benomyl against this fungi. Results showed that the essential oils of C. limon inhibited the radial growth of P. expansum and F. proliferatum at concentration 4.5 and 5%, respectively. However, the essential oil of C. reticulate inhibited this growth at concentration 5.5 and 6%, respectively. Moreover, the two fungicides inhibited radial growth of this fungi. In conclusion, there is a positive relationship between the increasing of concentration and the percentage of inhibiting of radial growth of fungi.

The research aimed at studying the inhibitive effect of the hot watery dry and ethanolic ginger(85%) and fragrant oil which are added in concentrates of o.o25, o.o5o and 0.1g / 100g respectively in the growth of bacteria and molds. The results of the initial chemical diagnosis showed containment of ginger roots extract on. Alkaloids, Glycosides, Flavonoids and Suponins. The highest inhibitive effect of the bacteria reached the concentrate . 0.1% of the oil extract then the concentrate 0.050% of the ethanolic hot extract follows it.
