This work presents a computer studying to simulate the charging process of a dust grain immersed in plasma with negative ions. The study based on the discrete charging model. The model was developed to take into account the effect of negative ions on charging process of dust grain.
The model was translated to a numerical calculation by using computer programs. The program of model has been written with FORTRAN programming language to calculate the charging process for a dust particle in plasma with negative ion, the time distribution of a dust charge, number charge equilibrium and charging time for different value of ηe (ratio of number density of electron to number density of positive ion).

Abstract

 This work involves studying the effect of adding some selective organic component mixture on corrosion behavior of pure Al and its alloys in condensed synthetic automotive solution (CSAS) at room temperature. This mixture indicates the increasing of octane number in previous study and in this study show the increasing in corrosion resistance through the decreasing in corrosion rate values.

Electrochemical measurements were carried out by potentiostat at 3 mV/sec to estimate the corrosion parameters using  Tafel extrapolation method, in addition to cyclic polarization test to know the pitting susceptibility of materials in tested medium.

   In this work, thin films of undoped and Al-doped CdO with (0.5, 1 and 2) wt.%  were prepared by using thermal vacuum evaporation on glass substrate at room  temperature. The optical absorption coefficient (α) of the films was determined from transmittance spectra in the range of wavelength (400-1100) nm. This study included 50 blood samples collected from children with mean age 8-12 years. Thirty five blood samples were collected from children with Type 1 Diabetes Mellitus (T1D) with mean age 9.4±0.34 years, and 15 blood samples collected from healthy children as a control sample with mean age 10.9±0.38 years. Immunogenetic study was done on collected blood samples. Concentrations of IFN-γ were estimated from T1D patient and control samples by using Elisa instrument. The concentration of this interferon was 1.575 pg/ml in T1D patient sample in comparison with 0.921 pg/ml in control sample. Significant differences of this interferon concentration were found between T1D patient and control samples when Mann-Whitney U test was used
