تلخصت مشکلة هذا البحث في التعرف على الدوافع التي تقف وراء تعرض الطلبة الدارسين في أقسام اللُّغة الإنکليزية للقنوات الفضائية الناطقة باللُّغة الإنکليزية والإشباعات المتحققة عن هذا التعرض في هذا المجتمع الخاص الذي يشکل بيئة اجتماعية علمية محددة، عن طريق تطبيق نظرية الإستخدامات والإشباعات في إطار المجتمعات الخاصة، وسعى هذا البحث إلى تحقيق ثلاثة أهداف هي، قياس استخدامات لطلبة الدارسين في أقسام اللُّغة الإنکليزية للقنوات الفضائية الناطقة باللُّغة الإنکليزية، والتعرف على دوافع تعرضهم لتلک القنوات فضلا عن رصد الإشباعات المترتبة على استخدام الطلبة الدارسين في أقسام اللُّغة الإنکليزية للقنوات الفضائية الناطقة باللُّغة الإنکليزية، وقد انطلقت فروض هذا البحث من الفروض الرئيسة لنظرية الإستخدامات والإشباعات وهذه الفروض هي: الفرض الاول: يتعرض الطلبة الدارسون في أقسام اللُّغة الإنکليزية للقنوات الأجنبية الناطقة باالانکليزية بهدف تحقيق معارف وخبرات في مجال أختصاصهم. الفرض الثاني: يستخدم الطلبة القنوات الفضائية الأجنبية الناطقة بااللُّغة الإنکليزية بهدف تحقيق حاجات ودوافع عدة ويتعرضون بشکل مستمر للبرامج التي تشبع تلک الحاجات والدوافع. الفرض الثالث: تستقطب برامج تلک الفضائيات إهتمامات الطلبة بهدف تحقيق أهداف محددة ومقصودة تلبي في واقع الحال توقعاتهم وإحتياجاتهم وإشباعاتهم المختلفة. وللتحقق من هذه الفروض وتحقيقا لاهداف البحث استخدم الباحث أداة الاستبيان لاجراء دراسة ميدانية على عينة عشوائية قوامها (240) مبحوثا بينهم (141) مبحوثة من الطالبات الاناث و (99) مبحوثا من الطلبة الذکور الدارسين في أقسام اللُّغة الإنجليزية بکليات اللُّغات والآداب والتربية في جامعة بغداد الذين يشکلون مجتمع البحث في المدة من (1/2/2018) إلى (28/2/2018)، ويعد هذا البحث أول تطبيق عملي لاختبار نظرية الإستخدامات والإشباعات على مستوى الطلبة الدارسين في أقسام اللُّغة الإنکليزية في العراق، وتوصل البحث إلى العديد من النتائج، من أهمها: صحة الفرض الأساسي لنظرية الإستخدامات والإشباعات والذي يشير إلى ان الجمهور يستخدم وسائل الاعلام لتحقيق اهداف مقصودة تلبي توقعاته، اذ تبين ان غالبية الطلبة الدارسين في أقسام اللُّغة الإنکليزية بجامعة بغداد يستخدمون القنوات الفضائية الناطقة باللُّغة الإنکليزية. اظهرت نتائج البحث ان الطالبات الاناث اللاتي يدرسن في أقسام اللُّغة الإنکليزية بجامعة بغداد اکثر اهتماما من الذکور بالتعرض للقنوات الفضائية الناطقة باللُّغة الإنکليزية. دلت النتائج إلى ان عدم وجود الوقت الکافي هو السبب الابرز لعدم تعرض عدد من المبحوثين الدارسين في أقسام اللُّغة الإنکليزية بجامعة بغداد للقنوات الفضائية الناطقة باللُّغة الإنکليزية ، فضلا عن عدم تناولها للشان العراقي في الکثير من الاحيان. اثبتت الدراسة صحة الفرض الاول (يتعرض الطلبة الدارسون في أقسام اللُّغة الإنکليزية بجامعة بغداد للقنوات الفضائية الناطقة باللُّغة الإنکليزية بهدف تحقيق معارف وخبرات في مجال اختصاصهم). مثل : انها تسهم في کثير من الحالات في زيادة قدراتي في مادة الإنکليزية، وتعلمني بشکل مستمر بعض المفردات الإنکليزية التي لم اتعرف عليها خلال دراستي، کما عززت من قدراتي في تلفظ بعض المفردات والجمل بشکل صحيح، واسهمت بشکل واضح من تغيير نظرتي وتصوراتي السابقة عن المجتمعات الغربية اثبتت الدراسة صحة الفرض الثاني (يستخدم الطلبة القنوات الفضائية الاجنبية الناطقة بااللُّغة الإنکليزية بهدف تحقيق حاجات ودوافع عدة ويتعرضون بشکل مستمر للبرامج التي تشبع تلک الحاجات والدوافع)، من بينها، متابعتي لتلک الفنون تزيد من معرفتي باللُّغة الإنکليزية، وتساعدني في کثير من الحالات في فهم الواقع داخل وخارج العراق، و تجعلني اکثر تميزاً من اقراني من الطلبة، وتزودني بمعلومات عن ثقافات واساليب حياة الشعوب الاخرى ، کما تقدم لي الخبرات المتراکمة في مجال الاختصاص، وتعلمت من خلالها طرق واساليب الحوار والنقاش مع زملائي واساتذتي، واعتقد انها تمثل الجانب العلمي لموضوع تخصصي. اثبتت الدراسة صحة الفرض الثالث (تستقطب برامج القنوات الفضائية الناطقة باللُّغة الإنکليزية اهتمامات الطلبة بهدف تحقيق اهداف محددة ومقصودة تلبي في واقع الحال توقعاتهم واحتياجاتهم واشباعاتهم المختلفة)، مثل، جعلني انتظر بعض البرامج لمقدمين برامج عالميين بهدف التعرف بهدف التعرف عن بعض الافکار المستورثة، واخبر بعض زملائي الطلبة عن بعض المفردات التي تعلمتها عن طريق تلک البرامج ، واتابع تلک القنوات بهدف تحقيق التسلية والترفيه والامتاع واتوقع دائماً من برامج تلک الفضائيات الکثير من العبارات والکلمات الجديدة في اللُّغة الإنکليزية لم اتعلمها من قبل فضلا عن انها تساعدني في فهم المنهج الدراسي بشکل افضل وتجعلني اتحدث باللُّغة الإنکليزية مع اساتذتي وزملائي بشکل افضل وانا مليء بالثقة فيما ادرسه.

This study aims to identify the empathy of University Students, as well as the significant differences in sympathy in terms of gender and specialization. To achieve the aims of the study, a scale of empathy was administered to a sample of (450) students collected randomly from Baghdad university. The results showed that the study sample has a level of empathy. There is a significant difference between males and females in empathy, in favor of the female students. There is no significant difference in empathy in terms of specialization (scientific, humanities), and the interaction between males and females. The study came out with a number of recommendations and suggestions.
