Data hiding using integer lifting wavelet transform and DNA computing
...Show More Authors

DNA computing widely used in encryption or hiding the data. Many researchers have proposed many developments of encryption and hiding algorithms based on DNA sequence to provide new algorithms. In this paper data hiding using integer lifting wavelet transform based on DNA computing is presented. The transform is applied on blue channel of the cover image. The DNA encoding used to encode the two most significant bits of LL sub-band. The produced DNA sequence used for two purpose, firstly, it use to construct the key for encryption the secret data and secondly to select the pixels in HL, LH, HH sub-bands for hiding in them. Many measurement parameters used to evaluate the performance of the proposed method such PSNR, MSE, and SSIM. The experimental results show high performance with respect to different embedding rate.

Abstract<p>There is a great operational risk to control the day-to-day management in water treatment plants, so water companies are looking for solutions to predict how the treatment processes may be improved due to the increased pressure to remain competitive. This study focused on the mathematical modeling of water treatment processes with the primary motivation to provide tools that can be used to predict the performance of the treatment to enable better control of uncertainty and risk. This research included choosing the most important variables affecting quality standards using the correlation test. According to this test, it was found that the important parameters of raw water: Total Hardn</p> ... Show More

Text encryption through bio-inspired DNA and RNA sequencing

Cryptography is the technology of protecting information and communication by means of encoding the sending information. Existing methods often operate within predetermined mathematical structures which can be subject to pattern recognition and which are lack biological randomness. To address these challenges, this paper introduced a new bio-inspired cryptography approach to protect text messages using the coding mechanisms of DNA and RNA materials. The encryption system consists of six steps: encoding the plaintext message into DNA sequences, transcribing DNA into RNA, applying the complementary base pairing, scrambling RNA segments, optional reverse transcription, and encoding the resulting DNA-RNA characters into ciphertext. The paradigm and domain of data security is the key point as per the current era in which the data is getting transmitted to multiple channels from multiple sources. The data leakage and security loopholes are enormous and there is need to enforce the higher levels of security, privacy and integrity. Such sections incorporate e-administration, long range interpersonal communication, internet business, transportation, coordinations, proficient correspondences and numerous others. The work on security and trustworthiness is very conspicuous in the systems based situations and the private based condition. This examination original copy is exhibiting the efficacious use of security based methodology towards the execution with blockchain

Developing Bulk Arrival Queuing Models with Constant Batch Policy Under Uncertainty Data Using (0-1) Variables
...Show More Authors

This paper delves into some significant performance measures (PMs) of a bulk arrival queueing system with constant batch size b, according to arrival rates and service rates being fuzzy parameters. The bulk arrival queuing system deals with observation arrival into the queuing system as a constant group size before allowing individual customers entering to the service. This leads to obtaining a new tool with the aid of generating function methods. The corresponding traditional bulk queueing system model is more convenient under an uncertain environment. The α-cut approach is applied with the conventional Zadeh's extension principle (ZEP) to transform the triangular membership functions (Mem. Fs) fuzzy queues into a family of conventional b

Towards Accurate Pupil Detection Based on Morphology and Hough Transform
...Show More Authors

Automatic recognition of individuals is very important in modern eras. Biometric techniques have emerged as an answer to the matter of automatic individual recognition. This paper tends to give a technique to detect pupil which is a mixture of easy morphological operations and Hough Transform (HT) is presented in this paper. The circular area of the eye and pupil is divided by the morphological filter as well as the Hough Transform (HT) where the local Iris area has been converted into a rectangular block for the purpose of calculating inconsistencies in the image. This method is implemented and tested on the Chinese Academy of Sciences (CASIA V4) iris image database 249 person and the IIT Delhi (IITD) iris

Bayes Classification and Entropy Discretization of Large Datasets using Multi-Resolution Data Aggregation
...Show More Authors

Big data analysis has important applications in many areas such as sensor networks and connected healthcare. High volume and velocity of big data bring many challenges to data analysis. One possible solution is to summarize the data and provides a manageable data structure to hold a scalable summarization of data for efficient and effective analysis. This research extends our previous work on developing an effective technique to create, organize, access, and maintain summarization of big data and develops algorithms for Bayes classification and entropy discretization of large data sets using the multi-resolution data summarization structure. Bayes classification and data discretization play essential roles in many learning algorithms such a

Potential data interpretation is significant for subsurface structure characterization. The current study is an attempt to explore the magnetic low lying between Najaf and Diwaniyah Cities, In central Iraq. It aims to understand the subsurface structures that may result from this anomaly and submit a better subsurface structural image of the region. The study area is situated in the transition zone, known as the Abu Jir Fault Zone. This tectonic boundary is an inherited basement weak zone extending towards the NW-SE direction. Gravity and magnetic data processing and enhancement techniques; Total Horizontal Gradient, Tilt Angle, Fast Sigmoid Edge Detection, Improved Logistic, and Theta Map filters highlight source boundaries and the
