     The current work was undertaken to obtain the crude extract of PPO and laccase enzyme from the leaves of Malva parviflora. All leaves were washed with tap water, then the extraction was performed to acquire the crude extract’s enzymes. One gram of Malva parviflora leaves was homogenized in various volumes of distilled water (1:10, 1:5, and 1:2 w: v). The results showed that polyphenol oxidase and laccase with a ratio of 1:10 (w:v) gave the highest specific activity of 112.3 with 0.394 U/mg proteins. Two derivatives of Iimidazolidin 4-one (IMID4) and Oxazolidin 5-one (OXAZ5), were investigated as corrosion inhibitors of corrosion carbon steel in sea water by employing the theoretical and experimental methods. The results revealed that they inhibit the corrosion process and their %IE followed the order: IMID4 (89.093%) > OXAZ5 (80.179%). Dielectric measurements were carried on pure and doping potassium sulfate with copper and iron ions samples at 1wt.% and 3wt.% for both of copper and iron. The dielectric constant (ε') decreases exponentially from 2.8 to 1.5 as frequency increase for both dopant which is attributed to the space charge and structural distortion. The dielectric loss (ε") for Cu dopant decrease gradually with frequency. The same behavior for 1%Fe dopant while its 3%Fe doping started from 0.27 then decrease exponential. Band gaps for all samples almost constant around 6 eV.

Simultaneous determination of Furosemide, Carbamazepine, Diazepam, and Carvedilol in bulk and pharmaceutical formulation using the partial least squares regression (PLS-1 and PLS-2) is described in this study. The two methods were successfully applied to estimate the four drugs in their quaternary mixture using UV spectral data of 84synthetic mixtures in the range of 200-350nm with the intervals Δλ=0.5nm.
