This research deals with the effect of gallium oxide and cerium oxide as dopants on the structural and optical characteristics of tin oxide. Gallium and cerium oxide doped tin oxide was prepared with different doping concentrations (0, 0.03, 0.05 and 0.07) wt. pure and doped tin oxide thin films were prepared by the pulsed laser deposition technique. X-ray diffraction and UV-Visible spectrophotometer were employed to investigate both oxides doping effects. This research is concerned with the re-analysis of optical data (the imaginary part of the dielectric function as a function of photon energy E) of a-Si:H films prepared by Jackson et al. and Ferlauto et al. through using nonlinear regression fitting we estimated the optical energy gap and the deviation from the Tauc model by considering the parameter of energy photon-dependence of the momentum matrix element of the p as a free parameter by assuming that density of states distribution to be a square root function. In this work, the nuclear density distributions, size radii and elastic electron scattering form factors are calculated for proton-rich 8B, 17F, 17Ne, 23Al and 27P nuclei using the radial wave functions of Woods-Saxon potential. The parameters of such potential for nuclei under study are generated so as to reproduce the experimentally available size radii and binding energies of the last nucleons on the Fermi surface.
