Background: Mitral valve stenosis is a condition in which the hearts mitral valve is narrowed (stenosis), This narrowing blocks the valve from opening properly obstructing blood flow through the heart and the rest of the body and this causes changes in physical parameters (resistance and conductance). Aim of the study: To assess the changes in the physical parameters in mitral valve stenosis disease in different gender and age by using Doppler ultrasound. Methods : The examination of patients at the Division of Echo - at the Iraqi Center for Heart Disease in Medical City for surgery specialist - Baghdad - Iraq, during(February2009 till November2010). The current study included fifty eight cases containing (27 males and 31 females) ages ranging between (16- 82) and is divided between 29 people from healthy people (I) which contain (13 males and 16 females) ages ranging between (16- 82) and a standard deviation of 22.6. Twenty nine of patients with mitral valve stenosis were divided into group (II) contains (6 males and 8 females) ages ranging between (28-76) and the standard deviation of 17.8, group (III) contains (5 males and 4 females) ages ranging between (40-71) and the standard deviation of 16.1 and group (IV) contain (3 male and 3 female) ages ranging between (56-72) and the standard deviation of 17.9. Studying changes developments in physical factors resulting from mitral valve stenosis and depending on these factors were calculated to change the resistance and conductivity and studying the relationship of the change in area and the change of physical factors. Results: The flow rate and area of mitral valve was significantly less in group IV than other groups, but pressure gradient, max velocity, pressure half time, max pressure were higher and more significantly in group IV. Resistance is significantly increases and it is higher in group IV compared with other groups. Conductance is higher in group I but more significant in group II. Conclusion: There is a strong correlation between the pressure half time and area of mitral valve. Resistance was significantly increased and it is higher in sever mitral stenosis. Conductance is high in mild mitral stenosis. The increase in mitral pressure gradient is frequently compensated by a decreased conductance. Age was highly influential but sex exerts less influence to change the physical parameters.
The quality of groundwater should be improved by keeping safe water sources from contaminants in protective way by doing regular measuring and checkup before it supplied for usage. Private Wells do not receive the same services that wells supplying the public do. Well owners are responsible for protecting their drinking water. This work was carried out in Badra city, Iraq from December 2017 to May 2018, six wells water were investigated to determine the general characteristics of wells as well as studying the effect of environmental factors on the quality of water. The average of six wells were eleven parameters that is out of permissible limits were EC, Sal., Alk., TH, TDS, Na, Ca, Cl, SO4, Fe, Zn (4402-5183 /cm, 2.76-3.9 ppt

There are natural features that affect the growth of Baqubah city such as Dieyala river, Alssariya river, in addition to agricultural areas .All these natural features affect the growth of Baqubah city in the running form being seen . In this research the remote sensing and geographic information system (GIS) techniques are used for monitoring urban expansion and forecasting the probable axes to the growth of the city, and found that the probability of Baqubah growth to east is preferred due to Baqubah growth to the east would never interfere with natural features. Parameters that affect the adsorption experiments were studied and found the optimum pH were 6 and 5 for copper and iron respectively and the time interval was 120 min and the adsorbent mass was 0.1 g. The values for adsorption isotherms parameters were determined according to Langmuir [qmax were 54.64 and 61.7 mg/g while b values were 0.234 and 0.22 mg/l] , Freundlich [Kf were 16.07 and 18.89 mg/g and n were 2.77 and 3.16], Temkin [B were 0.063 and 0.074 j/mol and At were 0.143 and 1.658 l/g] and for Dubinin-Radushkev

Patients were classified into three groups: Group I had persistent restrictive filling pattern; Group II had reversible restrictive filling pattern; and Group III had nonrestrictive filling pattern. Results: The current study was conducted on a total number of 80 patients with DCM, fifty (62.5 %) were

The proposed method involves a batch ultrasound-assisted oxidative desulfurization (UAODS) of a previously hydrotreated diesel (containing 480 ppm sulfur) so as to convert the residual sulfur-bearing compounds into their corresponding highly polar oxides, which can be eliminated easily by extraction with a certain highly polar solvent. The oxidizing system utilized was H2O2 as an oxidant, CH3COOH as a
